[2-Day Tour of Tohoku, Japan] Ginzan Onsen, Zao Snow Monsters, Fox Village | Chinese and English Speaking Tour Guide (Departure from Shinjuku)

During this trip, the tour guide clearly assigned tasks to each member in advance, allowing the entire team to perform their respective duties and cooperate smoothly throughout the itinerary. From roll call and time management to assisting travelers and conveying information, each task had a clearly designated person responsible, avoiding confusion and duplication, and improving overall efficiency. Through this division of labor, I deeply realized the importance of teamwork. When everyone is clear about their role and willing to support each other, it not only reduces the pressure on the tour guide but also allows travelers to feel professionalism and reassurance. This experience taught me that good task allocation and communication are key factors in ensuring the smooth running of a trip.

The pickup was a bit confusing as there were a few buses and no sign. The guide arrived later than most of us. However, we were lucky to have considerably punctual group. Ittn was ok. The hotel we stayed at was not bad (+ point with the in room massage available).

Tour guide Xiao Hu （小胡）is well-mannered, professional and knowledgeable. He took care of all members well and patiently, arranged things sensibly and informed us clearly. We can have around 30-45 mins for each spot. The overall itinerary is a bit rush though. We basically had no time to have a proper lunch, but this was agreed by all tour members to have lunch in the coach to save time. Everyone’s opinion was respected. Personally I prefer cutting the onsen part as less than one-third of the members chose that while the others had to sit and wait.

A wonderful trip to Ginzan Onsen and Zao Ropeway with stunning scenery. The tour guide Nakajima san was kind, informative, and made everything smooth and enjoyable.

During this two-day trip to Tohoku, Japan, the most unforgettable thing for me was the absolutely stunning spectacle of the Zao snow monsters. Riding the ropeway slowly upwards, the snow-covered mountains overlapped outside the window, a magnificent and awe-inspiring sight. Looking out, the trees covering the mountains were thickly enveloped in snow and ice, transformed into "snow monsters" of various shapes, appearing both mysterious and sacred in the swirling mist. Especially at night, the snow-covered plains illuminated by lights added to the romantic atmosphere, as if stepping into a silver-white fairytale world, breathtakingly beautiful.

The tour guide Xiao Hu is very kind, and the description of the scenic spots is also very detailed. In addition, he is also very knowledgeable about the history and background of each scenic spot. He will also carefully inform the group members of the precautions and trends of each itinerary in advance, which is highly recommended.

Thank you to the tour guide Vicky and the driver for leading us on a smooth tour of Ginzan Hot Spring through ancient culture and history and the snowy scenery of Zao Rokuyama for 2 days and 1 night. Don’t live in this life.

All are good. The view is stunning. Tour guide is good and very on time. Everybody are very punctual so can make thr trip went smoothly. Just the hotel is a bit creepy. My husband said the light on automatically at midnight. Seems like the hotel is very old. The toilet at the lobby also creepy too.

Overall a great experience.. a short 2D1N trip to experience the snow & coldness.. our tour guide Xiao Hu was very kind and make sure everyone is safe & comfortable throughout the trip.. will be nicer if dinner is included..
