I highly recommend this tour. Driving three hours one way, plus car rental and tolls, would easily exceed the tour fee. Additionally, signing up for the tour directly includes boat tickets and scenic train tickets, which are often difficult to secure. Furthermore, our guide, Daqiao, provided service that was beyond excellent. He was friendly, professional, and skillfully switched between three languages (Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin) to provide detailed explanations to our group, which included people from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. He meticulously explained the pick-up/drop-off times, itinerary details, and any potential adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances. On the day of the tour, he handled unexpected traffic situations and made necessary itinerary changes very smoothly. Besides being friendly, he also managed the group effectively, ensuring everyone cooperated to keep the tour on schedule. The weather was great, the scenery was stunning, and we were even more fortunate to have such a thoughtful and attentive guide. Today's day trip was rich and exciting, including the Takachiho sightseeing train, which is suitable for both adults and children, Amano Iwato Shrine's West Main Shrine, and the stunningly beautiful Takachiho Gorge. Our tour guide, Ada-san, was very professional, engaging, and humorous! She not only enthusiastically filmed beautiful videos for everyone but also vividly explained the myths and legends of Amano Iwato, giving us a deeper understanding of the local culture. When visiting Takachiho Gorge, she also accompanied everyone deep into the canyon to admire the picturesque waterfalls and natural scenery. Furthermore, Ada-san recommended many local specialty foods and allocated ample time for each attraction, allowing everyone to leisurely experience the charm of Takachiho. This trip not only brought us beautiful scenery and knowledge but also helped us easily achieve our health goal of 10,000 steps! If you are planning a family trip to Kyushu, I highly recommend choosing Ada-san as your tour guide. She is meticulous, thoughtful, and experienced, capable of planning your itinerary and providing high-quality, attentive guided services, ensuring you create wonderful and unforgettable memories.

This was the highlight of my Kyushu trip! Takachiho Gorge was absolutely stunning, and the boat ride offered incredible views of the waterfalls and cliffs. The Takachiho Railway experience was unique and provided amazing mountain scenery. Amano-Iwato Shrine was peaceful and rich in Japanese culture and history. The guide was professional and organized, making the long journey smooth and enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip from Fukuoka and a must-do for nature lovers.

We went to all the places listed in the itinerary. We were lucky the weather was really nice today, so the train was open for operation and the river at the gorge was very clear. Our tour guide, Ms. Yang, was very nice and friendly and knowledgeable about mythology and facts about the locality. She gives you decent time to explore the areas on your own if you're that type of person, rather than follow her around all day as long as you meet up at the agreed time. She can also help you with restaurant bookings in Fukuoka, if you're interested in that.

We had a great time in this tour. Selina is warm and responsive host and the tour destinations are all worth it. To experience seeing takachiho gorge up close and to ride the railway is a must to enjoy your kyushu trip. no issues encountered during the trip too. we had enough stop overs, we are given time to eat and explore on our own too.

A very good excursion even though the boat was not accessible due to weather and river rising. Our guide Selena was very great and professionnal. We had a very pleasant time. The road trip was very comfortable.
