really nice workers and caring. They speak English well. They made my hair very nicely. they also gave me a gift. I stained the yukata and they didn’t even mention it. It was heart warming experience thanks to them 🫶🏼

Had a lovely day about town in these kimonos. I chose this store as they didn’t seem to have restrictions on size. I am 130~140cm waist and even though their larger sizes were out being cleaned they found an option for me so I could still enjoy the experience. The ladies were all lovely and a wiz at their art, especially the hairdressers. Was fun to be able to choose your own outfit and assesories to put your own twist on the Japanese culture. Definitely an experience to do.. even if only for a few hours in the summer heat! Have already recommended to some people we have met on our travels. Thank you!

Experience: Like the reviews say, they are very kind and you can experience high-quality kimono & yukata at a reasonable price😍 (You could use it for about ₩5,000 to ₩10,000 cheaper when booking with Klook!) You could pay extra for experiences other than the basic kimono, but there were many pretty designs in the basic plan, so I was able to choose a design I liked! They even did my hair and picked out decorations with good sense, so I was really satisfied with the kimono I wore in the end!!! They added lace decorations to the kimono, which made it look even prettier...🥰 All the staff were friendly and if you can speak Japanese, they will chat with you, so I had a great time. It rained a bit on the day of my reservation, but they gladly lent me an umbrella, so I was able to experience it without any problems! If you visit Kyoto, you must try the kimono experience here. You can get a great picture and it's a great place to feel good~!!!

Sakura Kimono Store has 2 branches. We went to the wrong one, but the staff was still very polite and let us have a kimono experience there. The weather was very hot, so we chose yukata. The staff who helped us put on the kimono were very nice and helped us choose accessories. They made us look very beautiful/handsome. It is a store worth recommending.

The service staff is very good. They give advice and can choose clothes that suit you. I recommend bringing an umbrella in case it rains.

Because it was our first time taking the train, we were a little late, but the store owner was very kind and let us wear the clothes anyway. He was also very patient with my daughter. The Taiwanese clerk was super friendly!

We booked the day prior for 9:30a. The shop is near bus stop, subway entrance and the canals where you can take some great pictures. Mo ri was the lovely lady who showed us the kimonos, belts and bags. Once you choose you go upstairs where two lovely Japanese ladies dress you quickly and efficiently.
