Booked a kimono rental for both my daughter and I and added a 30-minute photography session. I knew this would be a special experience and wanted to capture the memories while we were there. Looking back, I’m so glad I did. The entire experience was so much fun and easy-going. I must admit I was feeling a little stressed at first because I wanted nice photos but had absolutely no idea how to pose! 😅 Thank God for blessing us with such an amazing photographer. He not only brought us to beautiful spots around Gion, but also patiently taught us how to pose naturally without looking awkward. He made the whole session feel relaxed and enjoyable. We also loved the lady at the kimono shop. There were so many gorgeous kimonos to choose from that we were getting more confused by the minute! She helped us pick colours and patterns that suited us and styled our hair so beautifully. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and will def recommend this place to everyone!! pictures turned out so beautiful.

I had such a wonderful time renting a kimono and doing a photoshoot! The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional — they made sure I found the perfect kimono that suited both my style and the occasion. There were so many beautiful options to choose from, and the quality of the kimono was excellent. The dressing process was done with great care, and I felt so elegant once everything was in place. The hairstyling service was also a lovely touch and completed the look perfectly. The photoshoot was an absolute highlight. The photographer was skilled, made me feel comfortable, and guided me through poses naturally. We shot in some stunning locations, and the photos came out beautifully — a perfect mix of traditional elegance and natural charm. This experience was truly memorable, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Japanese culture or capture a special moment in a unique and meaningful way!

I had a lovely experience with the kimono rental, hair styling, and 30 min photoshoot! The ladies were friendly, attentive, and efficient. There was an adequate selection of kimonos and yukatas to choose from and could upgrade for more options. The process takes about an hour (deciding, dressing, hair styling). Long was my photographer. He knew all the spots for photos and was great at directing poses that felt natural. I received a download link a couple hours later and ended up with around 90 photos. I would highly recommend this experience!

First timers and 110% will do this again. Attention to detail and from the hair to styling our kimonos was an amazing experience. Thank you friendly staff for creating this memorable scene for my family. We loved it!

This was an amazing experience! From identifying the kimono of my choice (upgraded by ¥5,500 for the one I’m wearing) to preparing for the photoshoot with hair/makeup, Mai and Thu were attentive and helpful every step of the process. I highly recommend the 30-minute photoshoot package. The photoshoot is more than enough time because the photographer chooses aesthetically pleasing locations to shoot and gives excellent posing directions. Since it’s a full day rental, I recommend thinking through your bio needs (ie, eating, restroom breaks, etc.).

We availed the couple kimono rental plus photoshoot package, and it was such a fun and smooth experience! The staff helped us with everything — from dressing up to directing our poses during the shoot, so there was no hassle at all. We didn’t have to worry about looking awkward because they guided us perfectly. The photos turned out beautifully, and it really captured the traditional vibe. This is probably the most affordable 30-minute kimono photoshoot I’ve found so far! Ha was the one who took my photos, he directed the poses and made the whole experience really easy and relaxed. He’s super friendly and approachable, not intimidating at all. We ended up with over 100 photos! Since it’s a budget-friendly option, the pictures aren’t edited, but after we returned the kimono, he airdropped all the shots to me, which was super convenient. I just did some light editing myself, but honestly, the photos already looked great. Totally worth it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our kimono dress up experience. The ladies were very friendly and helpful in choosing our ensemble kimono /purse/ sandals, including our hair updo. (the kimono is adjusted to whatever size you are--what a concept) I forgot to add make up when I booked so we just quickly did our own. Our photographer Duan Le was fantastic. He made us feel very comfortable as he guided us take multiple fun poses. My sisters and I had such a blast. Also, he sent us our photos very quickly so we were able to giggle and share our photos all day. Lastly, I'm glad I booked the 8am slot because the street where we took photos did have too many people walking around yet. I'm usually shy around cameras but I'm really glad we did this. It makes for great memories/souvenir afterall!!

They are incredibly kind! They put their heart into decorating with you. The color combinations are exquisite, and they make everything look absolutely adorable. I highly recommend them to all Koreans! Especially the hair styling, they truly put in their best effort. They make the most of your volume, and overall, I was extremely satisfied.
