Mga bagay na dapat gawin sa Taipei Children's Amusement Park

Agosto 23, 2026 (Linggo) Noong pumunta kami rito dalawang taon na ang nakalipas, napakainit ng araw. Ngayon ay napakalamig ng panahon at may kaunting ambon. Dahil umuulan, pansamantalang itinigil ang paggamit ng roller coaster. Nakapanghihinayang na hindi kami nakasakay... Nasubukan namin ang Jungle Tree House (drop tower), Pirate Ship, Teacups, Galaxy (monorail), Ferris Wheel, Happy Bumper Cars, at Enterprise. Talagang sulit ang ibinayad namin sa tiket! Ang pinaka-hindi ko malilimutan ay ang pagsakay sa Pirate Ship. Medyo nakakarelaks pala itong sakyan, at dalawang beses kaming sumakay ng aking anak na babae. Nung nakita ng anak ko na lalaki ang sandbox, hindi na siya umalis doon at gumugol kami ng isa't kalahating oras dito 😅 Nanatili kami hanggang sa dumilim (6:30 ng gabi) bago tuluyang umalis nang may pag-aatubili.

astronomical museum was mid for me as i wasn't really interested in astronomy. it was very interactive. but the science education center is where it's at! i spent such a long time here and it brought out the inner kid in me

Tom Bear Bear is actually the play area for young children inside Tom's World... The space isn't large, but it's more than enough for kids under 5, and it even has some cozy, hidden areas. Overall, it feels quite comfortable... It's just that the machines inside Tom's World are a bit too loud and noisy... It's also a shame that the mini train can only be ridden once... Otherwise, it would probably be even more appealing.

Had a great day with my guide Joanna! it was the first day Typhoon Champi hit so Yehliu Geopark was closed, but she took me to Heping Island GeoPark in Keelung instead. this led to a stop at Zhengbin Port Color Houses which i didn't think I'd get a chance to see on this vacation so I'm grateful she took me here. she also got me pastries from a famous bakery nearby. the waterfall is beautiful of course but there are a lot of stairs and it was raining pretty hard so wear good shoes. and the 2 things I was most excited about was releasing lanterns at Shifen and the red lanterns of the alleys and tea house of Jiufen. we got there early so Joanna was worried they wouldn't light up the lanterns, but they did and before 5pm! (maybe because it was getting dark earlier due to the typhoon). she got me her favorite mochi to try at one of the stalls and even helped me haggle with a shop keeper to get a better deal. happy experience with a great guide!

It's a pineapple cake that you just mix, put in a mold, and bake. However, even mixing it required a bit of skill, and I enjoyed figuring out how to make it look nice when putting it into the mold. I also enjoyed talking with people from the same country.

Magandang lugar para magpalipas ng buong araw. Magsimula sa itaas at magtungo pababa. Ang koleksyon ay nakaayos mula sa pinakamaagang panahon sa itaas na palapag, hanggang sa mga mas bagong likha sa ibabang mga palapag. Madali at mas mura ang pagsakay sa pampublikong sasakyan kaysa sa sightseeing bus. Napakaraming likha doon kaya maaaring gusto mong bumalik sa ibang araw upang makita ang iba pa. Mangyaring kumain muna bago pumunta rito dahil mayroon lamang silang maliit na cafe na palaging puno ng tao. Bukod sa kanilang mga pinakasikat na likha na gustong makita ng mga tao, makakatagpo ka ng iba pang mga piraso na magugustuhan mo; nalaman ko na ang mga gate cup ang mas gusto ko kaysa sa mga sikat na piyesa.

You definitely have to book a tour with Guide Yoon! Without a second thought, you must do the Youngshim Tour!! At first, because someone was late to the meeting point, I wondered if the guide might be a bit sharp, but no, not at all ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She was just very straightforward and loud. Every time she spoke, we burst out laughing; she was so entertaining and clearly pointed out places we didn't really need to visit and things we didn't need to buy. Since we did the tour right on our first day, we got so many great tips that we used well throughout our trip haha. She is truly, genuinely passionate about good food, so she gave us a ton of restaurant recommendations, and the fruit at Shifen Waterfall—which she called a fruit hotspot—was genuinely delicious ㅋㅋㅋ I'm kicking myself for only buying one pack of mangoes... 😂 Everywhere we went, she gave passionate explanations and shared useful tips, so we had a really comfortable and great tour. We ran into Guide Youngshim waiting for a tour in our hotel lobby on our last day, and we were so glad to see her!!! Even in that brief moment, she yelled out, "Don't go here or there today~~!!" ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, she was the absolute best! If I ever get to travel to Taipei again, I'd want to request Guide Youngshim specifically for a tour, even if it's a different one~~~ Thank you for a wonderful and fun tour!!!
