We had a brief chat with the photographer before the shoot, and the meeting/pickup process was very straightforward! The photographer was patient and meticulous in helping our family of three take photos, guiding our poses and expressions. Our four-year-old son is quite active and a bit difficult to cooperate with, but the photographer used various methods to engage him in the photos! We received the photos back within two weeks, and they are beautiful. Thank you so much! 10/10!!

Sa 3-araw at 4-gabing biyahe namin ng aking ina sa Fukuoka, sa ikatlong araw, habang naghahanap ng mga aktibidad sa Tenjin, nakita ko ang yukata/kimono experience at nag-apply ako!! Naisip kong mag-kimono, pero dahil Hunyo 1 na, lumipat ako sa yukata. Pero dahil mainit talaga sa Japan, mas maganda siguro ang medyo manipis na yukata. Nag-book ako para sa unang slot ng 9 AM at dumating ako nang kaunti mas maaga, mga limang minuto bago, pero sinabi nila na eksaktong 9 AM pa lang sila magbubukas, haha. Kaya habang naghihintay, nakita ko sa pinto na kailangan munang gumamit ng banyo, kaya ginawa ko iyon at pumasok kami nang magbukas sila nang kaunti pagkalipas ng 9 AM. Kinuha ko ang premium deluxe plan, at pinili ko rin ang yukata mula sa premium at one-star na opsyon. Sa tingin ko, mas maganda ang one-star kaysa sa inaasahan, kaya doon kami pumili ng dalawa para sa akin at sa aking ina. Para sa buhok, tulad ng nakita ko sa mga blog review, available ang two-star, at dahil may nakita na akong gusto ko, pinili ko ang two-star na hairstyle number 1. Sa unang slot, tatlong grupo kami kasama ang amin, kaya pagkatapos naming isuot ang puting panloob na damit, agad naming ginawa ang buhok. Dahil ito ay isang hairstyle na may tirintas at nakatago sa gilid, tinanong nila kung saan ko gusto, at sinabi kong sa kaliwa. Sobrang ganda ng buhok kaya sobrang nasiyahan ako. At pagkatapos ng buhok, maaari kang pumili ng hair accessory. Mayroong libreng bilog na parang kendi, at mayroon ding magagandang bulaklak na kailangan mong magbayad ng 500 yen, kaya pinili ko na lang ang libreng bilog, haha. Pero nasiyahan pa rin ako... Ang damit ay maayos na isinuot sa akin ayon sa aking taas, at para sa bag, walang masyadong maganda sa libreng opsyon, kaya hindi na ako nagbayad ng dagdag. Para sa sapatos, kung medyo malambot sana, isusuot ko ang kahoy na sapatos, pero dahil sobrang tigas ng kahoy, naglakad na lang kami gamit ang aming sneakers para hindi makita ang aming mga paa sa mga litrato. At dahil sobrang init ng panahon, balak sana naming gamitin ang aming sariling payong, pero naisip namin na dahil nandito na kami, gamitin na lang namin ang sa kanila, kaya nagbayad kami ng 500 yen para umarkila, at nasiyahan ako, haha. Sobrang bagay din sa damit at maganda sa mga litrato!! Nag-umpisa kami ng 9 AM at natapos kami bandang 10 AM pagkatapos ng lahat ng ito. Hindi naman namin balak maglakad nang matagal na suot ito, kaya isinauli namin bago mag-12 PM. Sobrang ganda ng mga litrato at kakaibang karanasan ito. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

The staff were incredibly friendly and skilled! The location was also perfect, right in front of the Tabito bus stop and Dazaifu Station. The hair styling, in particular, was truly artistic. When upgrading to premium on-site (which includes hair styling and more yukata options for women, but no hair styling for men), there was an additional charge of approximately 5,500 yen for two women. Even short hair could be styled! Please note that if you have a larger build or hips, your yukata design choices might be limited due to sizing. As of early June, wearing a yukata was comfortably warm and pleasant!

This was our first time to book professional photography experience. We were very happy during 1 hour photo shooting. The photographer is very nice and advices us how to perform. Once we have got the photo, they are very lovely. Truly appreciated that.

I went to Yanagawa to take photos in a kimono with the cherry blossoms. The agent had already set up a Line group so I could communicate with the photographer. We had already arranged the meeting time and location in advance, and the session went very smoothly. The photographer was very professional, and I'm very satisfied with the photos. I didn't expect to get such a high-quality photographer and photos for this price!

Whether you prefer elegant, cute, or gorgeous styles, you can find a choice you love, and they are highly versatile for pairing, resulting in beautiful photos. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable and clearly marked, with no hidden fees. It was affordable and offered great value for money, allowing me to enjoy a high-quality kimono experience at a favorable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a kimono or create wonderful travel memories. I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! I had a wonderful time with these ladies learning about Japanese food. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Thank you so much for a very memorable and enjoyable experience. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan!

Before my first trip to Fukuoka, I diligently researched ChatGPT, Google reviews, and blog posts, and chose the Mitsui Garden Hotel Gion, which is popular with Korean families. It was within walking distance of Hakata Station, had a 7-Eleven across the crosswalk, and a MaxValu 24-hour store nearby, making it convenient to buy things like pre-cut fruit. Getting to Tenjin was also easy, whether from Gion or Hakata, or even Kushinsha, depending on the itinerary, so the subway accessibility was excellent. It was surprisingly closer than it appeared on Google Maps! Amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body towels, shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser, and cotton swabs are all available in the lobby for guests to take at any time, and they are also fully stocked in the 13th-floor public bath and in the rooms. You truly only need to bring yourself to this accommodation. Other reviews mentioned relieving fatigue in the public bath and open-air bath, so I went right when it opened at 5 AM and quickly took some photos since no one else was there. After returning from outings in the hot weather, I visited the public bath twice a day for all three nights. There was a staff member who spoke Korean well, and they were very kind and helpful. The standard double room was fine for two adults with two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch) opened and used. There was a sofa and a table, so we could eat snacks we bought, and the refrigerator kept things cold. Since it was summer and we drank a lot of water, we continuously got bottled water from the front desk every time we returned from an outing. I think we received over 10 bottles of water. It's great for families, and if you're traveling with parents, the public bath is a huge advantage. We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the friendly Mitsui Garden.

We really enjoy our 5-day stay in the hotel. Very clean, accommodating and helpful staff, good location and resonably price. Highly recommended. And if your are a Catholic, the church is just across the street, you can take the English Sunday mass. I will definitely come back to this hotel. Very good experience.
