Although the lottery reservation system two weeks in advance made me think this place would be packed, I found upon arrival that the crowd control was excellent. There was no pressure from long queues, making for a very comfortable visiting experience. While Fukuoka Tower may not be the tallest building we've ever conquered, the panoramic views from this glass tower are truly on par with any famous landmark. The sunlight glinting off the distant ocean, city buildings, and elevated bridges, combined with the lush greenery nearby and stunning cumulonimbus clouds, offers a breathtaking vista of the entire city of Fukuoka, which is truly refreshing. Visiting the tallest building in every new city is a travel tradition my child and I have always maintained. Watching him excitedly stride across the floor in front of the massive floor-to-ceiling windows at Fukuoka Tower, I felt this habit added another wonderful parent-child memory. If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka, I highly recommend adding Fukuoka Tower to your itinerary. Remember to make your reservation online in advance (it's a lottery system); good views are worth waiting for and even more worth experiencing in person.

AUG. 13, 2026 ✈️ Let's go to Fukuoka ✖️ Marine World Uminonakamichi Good morning! Today, August 13th, is definitely the crucial turning point of this trip‼️ As early as August 6th, when I saw two typhoons forming, 'White Dolphin' had no impact. Although Typhoon No. 15 'Chan-hom' swept across mainland Japan, it seemed to be heading north, so I initially wasn't concerned. However, the day before departure, I checked the weather, and it looked like the path on August 13th might hit Northern Kyushu. I had already prepared myself for a rainy outing today... But to my surprise! On August 8th, I checked the typhoon path again, and the storm circle had shifted directly north, completely missing Northern Kyushu! Today, we were greeted with a super sunny day! Although the UV rays were so strong I could barely open my eyes, the sun is always better than rain. Long live sunny days! ☀️✨ Our first stop today is Marine World Uminonakamichi, and our luck with the itinerary has been incredible: 🦭 Seal Show: We just made it for the 10:40 AM show, the 'only one' of the day – super lucky! 🐧 Penguin Feeding and Explanation: At 11:50 AM, we saw penguins running wildly and even slipping and falling while chasing food. They were so cute it melted our hearts‼️ 🐬 Dolphin Show: The incredibly powerful dolphin sounds combined with their cool surfing tricks were truly amazing (◐‿◑) However, it was really, really hot today! After much consideration, we decisively decided to skip the vast outdoor Uminonakamichi Park and head straight to Tenjin for some air-conditioned shopping! 🛍️

În general, a fost o excursie grozavă. Toată ziua a fost înnorată. Muntele Asp, din păcate, a fost cețos și nu am putut vedea mare lucru. În plus, am rezervat plimbarea cu barca, dar nivelul apei era ridicat și nu ni s-a permis să facem nicio activitate nautică, prin urmare, întreaga sumă ne va fi rambursată, conform celor spuse.

Our tour guide, Sun Peng, was humorous and engaging, making the trip very enjoyable. He provided thorough explanations at each location and even pointed out great spots for photos, demonstrating true professionalism. On this trip, we visited: Takachiho Railway (at the highest point, a young man blows bubbles before the train returns; personally, I don't think it's a must-do), Takachiho Gorge (you can see beautiful scenery from above without needing to row a boat, and the miso grilled dango there is delicious), Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine (a mysterious forest shrine that is incredibly beautiful and definitely worth the climb; the water there is safe and very refreshing to drink), and Kusasenri (where you can see Mount Aso and enjoy matcha pudding). The entire trip was very worthwhile, though I only wish we had more time at each stop.

A fost foarte distractiv și am reușit să vedem multe într-o singură zi. Singurul lucru este că trebuie să fii atent la timp. Este foarte ușor să te concentrezi doar pe o singură zonă a locului pe care îl vizitezi și, înainte să-ți dai seama, timpul tău este aproape epuizat și trebuie să te întorci la autocar. Ghidul meu a fost Kevin și a fost minunat! Kevin a avut o energie frumoasă, a fost foarte amabil și mi-a explicat totul în engleză – deoarece vin din Statele Unite. Recomand să împachetați câteva gustări/mâncare, pur și simplu pentru că vă puteți lăsa absorbiți de vizitarea obiectivelor turistice și s-ar putea să nu aveți ocazia să luați ceva de acolo, și, de asemenea, pentru că mâncarea nu este asigurată. Per total, partea mea preferată este cât de pitorescă este întreaga călătorie!

this had been one of our favourite river cruise experience as we enjoy one and two of our head down “under the bridge “ activity . Our tour guide Ken is very polite and kind . he is very enthusiastic and entertaining toward our group of tour. he sang many good Japanese popular song for instance the doremon song : the boat row is peaceful and the view are epic with a sense of calmness. definitely would like to come by again for another ride.

It was a wonderful experience. The scenic spots were beautiful, and I took many great photos. Most importantly, our tour leader, KC, was truly professional. The day before the activity, she messaged us to remind us to bring heatstroke prevention items because of the hot weather. Today, she thoughtfully introduced each attraction we visited and even provided reference photos, showing us the best photo spots at each location. She proactively helped us take pictures, allowing us to capture many beautiful moments. She also took the initiative to pre-order and pick up our meals, saving us time waiting in line and giving us more time to explore. Her service was incredibly thoughtful. Driver Master Yu's driving skills were excellent. Because of the hot weather, Master Yu always turned on the air conditioning for us before we got into the car. Highly recommended.

had a beautiful and amazing day visiting Yufuin, Beppu, Kinrin Lake, and Dazaifu! was the only English-speaking guest on the tour, while most of the other guests were part of the Chinese-speaking group. But thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Nana, I never felt left out or like I was on my own. Nana-san translated everything for me in English, took my phone number just in case I got or lost, made sure I had a comfy seat, and constantly checked that I was okay. She was so warm, funny, and genuinely thoughtful. She even reco a great place for ice cream at Honeybees! It honestly felt like I had my own little travel buddy for the day My fave part of the trip was Kinrin Lake. I was honestly amazed by how beautiful it was Beppu was also incredible. we couldn’t go on the Beppu Ropeway because of the weather, Dazaifu was under construction during my visit. Yufuin was probably the least enjoyable part for me because it felt quite touristy and crowded ended up having such a wonderful time.
