Saker att göra i Melbourne

Ett måste när man är i Melbourne. Denna resa är perfekt för både grupper och ensamresenärer som bara vill luta sig tillbaka, koppla av och bli körda till de bästa platserna längs Great Ocean Road. Tiden på varje plats kunde ha varit längre, men för en stor grupp och med många destinationer var tiden som spenderades precis lagom. Dessutom var vår guide och chaufför Daniel verkligen trevlig och vänlig och stöttade oss alla. Detta gjorde min resa till Melbourne oförglömlig.

Had a great time on this tour! We visited Brighton Beach, rode the Puffing Billy, and ended the day with the Penguin Parade. 🐧 Everything was well-organized and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Definitely recommend! ⭐️

The whole tour was very well organized and our guide Jono was amazing!! We were very impressed with how he could do it all—drive the coaster, drop tidbits and facts about where we were passing through/headed, all while DJ-ing during the ride! The size of the group was also great, not too big or too small. Jono made sure we saw koalas and kangaroos, and always gave great recommendations for food and what sightseeing paths to take. This tour is definitely a great option for all travellers 😊

I joined the Great Ocean Road tour with Go West Tours on 31 July and had an amazing day from start to finish. A huge thank you to our guide and driver, Aleks. She shared lots of interesting history, facts, and local insights that helped us better understand the places we visited. Her commentary was engaging and informative, but never overwhelming. She knew exactly when to explain things and when to give everyone some quiet time to relax, which made the long journey very comfortable. She is also an excellent driver. Despite spending the entire day on the road, the ride was smooth and I never felt uncomfortable. Aleks also knew all the best photo spots and kindly helped us take many beautiful photos throughout the trip. The whole tour was very well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish. Overall, one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommend Go West Tours, and a special thanks to Aleks for making the experience so memorable! 😊

ETT MÅSTE! Istället för Belgrave åkte vi från Lakeside och stannade till vid Gembrook. Jag vet inte vad jag missar i Belgrave, men jag är så tacksam att jag valde Lakeside. Att köra dit var enkelt, gott om parkeringsplatser, stationen var trevlig med ett kafé och ett minimuseum, och bara en kort promenad eller bilresa bort kunde man komma till sjöområdet för en promenad. Gembrook är också en supercharmig liten stad! Vi promenerade runt och slog oss ner på ett kafé som heter Gracie's och åt scones och varma drycker innan vi tog tåget tillbaka till Lakeside. Jag njöt verkligen av denna resa eftersom den var sååå fridfull. Jag rekommenderar starkt att du också provar samma rutt!

Visited SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium on a weekday am and found the entry process smooth and hassle-free. Admission was quick by simply scanning the QR code from the Klook app, allowing us to enter without any waiting. The aquarium itself is relatively small and has a more traditional, old-fashioned city aquarium feel compared to some of the newer attractions in Asia. There is a decent variety of marine life on display, making it an enjoyable visit for families w young children and casual visitors. School groups started arriving later in the am, so it was quieter and more pleasant to explore earlier in the day. Unfortunately, the penguin section was closed for renovation during our visit, which was a disappointment as it is usually one of the main highlights of the aquarium. Despite this, there was still enough to see and do, and we spent around two hours exploring the exhibits at a comfortable pace.

easy to redeem, entry was hassle free using the qr code. Zoo is not that big but the safari bus was a nice experience it was foggy early morning but eventually sun came out mid day.

We visited Melbourne Zoo on a weekday am and found it to be a relaxing way to spend the day. We took the bus from Melbourne CBD, although the walk from the bus stop to the zoo entrance was a little longer than expected. Entry was quick and seamless, with easy QR code scanning at the gate. What pleasantly surprised us was that Melbourne Zoo is not just about the animals. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with an impressive collection of ferns, mature trees, and diverse flora throughout the park. Walking along the shaded pathways often felt like exploring a botanical garden, making it enjoyable even between animal exhibits. Unfortunately, many of the animals were hidden from view or sleeping during our visit, which was a little disappointing. However, this did not take away from the overall experience. The peaceful atmosphere, lush greenery, and well-maintained walking trails made it a lovely place to spend a leisurely day outdoors.
