Puffing Billy ånglokståg & Pingvinparaden heldags sightseeing

The ride on the Puffing Billy steam train was truly impressive! Sitting on the open carriage window sills, dangling our legs outside, and feeling the breeze while passing through lush green forests was such an exciting experience! The penguin parade was incredible! I was grateful to see around 60 penguins—on average, about 700 penguins come out to the island each day. Australian penguins are the little penguin and irresistibly cute! I was also delighted to see baby Cape Barren Geese; they are utterly adorable! Our tour guide is knowledgeable and cares for our basic needs such as going to the bathroom and having our meals during the day. I highly recommend wearing enough clothing because Philip Island is very windy.

Going to Melbourne for a babymoon and we had a really magical experience with Loki our tour guide. He explained everything clearly, guide us through every places. The highlight of our trip was philip island penguin parade, it was one of the memorable experience to see the tinniest penguin coming back to their nest in real life. Would repeat it again with my baby girl in the near future for sure!

Tack till vår guide och chaufför Stuart. Han är verkligen snäll och hjälpsam. Han påminde oss alltid om allt, till och med vilken toalett som var renast. Vi fick tillräckligt med tid att ta foton och promenera runt på varje plats. Det är första gången jag besöker Australien med familjen. Vi är glada att ha haft honom som vår guide. Jag har dock en sak att påminna er om. Det rekommenderas starkt att äta en ordentlig frukost innan ni kliver på bussen. Er nästa måltid blir förmodligen runt 17:30.

we had a great time with this pretty chill itenary. managed to really get an hour's ride on the puffing billy steam train and head straight down to Philip island to watch the penguine parade. we had plenty of time for lunch and dinner, best part there's no rush. a lil bit pricey for the tour but overall Mark our driver and guide was amazing. We also saw so many wild animals such as geese, wallaby, penguins and different types of birds along the way.

Had an amazing day at Phillip Island and Puffing Billy. Our guide is very knowledgeable and helpful(forgot his name 🫠). He recommended Nat’s place where we ate the best fish and chips we ever had. Didn’t expect the penguins to be very tiny lol they are so cute!

this trip is sooo good!!! Lily was our guide, and she was paitient and controlled the time of transition very well. she told us the accurate time of coming back to the bus so that we all can follow. And on the way of Philip Island, she reminded us to look at the wildlife, such as wallaby and local geese. Love this trip!

Matt - Our tour guide is humorous, informative and professional in a package! Everything is smooth through out the day starting from the picking up, getting the tickets and dropping us off after the end of a long day (and long drive for Matt). Highly recommending this tour!

absoultely wonderful experience. Was reluctant to go for this tour at the beginning as cost of this tour was a little bit higher than the others. But it worth every cents when seeing the cute little penguins climbing up shores and seeing them up close. Driver was nice too as he allowed us to pick up dinner by the road and have it on the go. tour with Explore Australia.

The Puffing Billy train was so fun and interesting! We watched the penguins going back home and it was so cute! Ms Margaret was so enthusiastic to her job and explained and showed everything along the way! it was truly an amazing trip!
