Prehliadky Zhang Mei Ama’s Farm

I’ve gone on so many tours around the world and my whole family agrees this was arguably our favorite organized tour ever. We started hiking to the most breathtaking waterfall (truly! and I’ve seen many). I didn’t want to leave. We saw the friendliest animals on the farm and they were well taken care of and the staff was great. The Geopark was such a cool experience to be able to cook food you pick in a natural way! Amazing. And making a scallion pancake to top it off. The only downside was that it was an extremely hot day. Hydrate the night before it case you have a hot day ahead of you. Again, best tour in Taiwan. Xu Qiyang was a very wholesome guide. He sent information ahead of time that was very thorough and throughout the tour in translated bits to give any passenger in any language needed. We will always remember this trip.

This tour was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Kate Chen, was funny, joyful, generous, and extremely informative. The locations we went to were a great experience and Kate always made it very easy to get back to the bus and communicated timelines well. The bubble tea sample was exceptional. We were given insight of the locations visited beforehand and provided wonderful recommendations and maps texted to us. Also, Luodong night market is one of the best night markets I’ve visited in Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Kate Chen as the guide.

Our guide Toku is simply amazing! super knowledgeable and insightful about many things relating to Taiwan. the farming scene, the delicacies and the history. it was such a peaceful and relaxing time spent with him! he was also very thoughtful and considerate to making places we visit convenient and comfortable for us. it was such an amazing time spent!

Išiel som na výlet za pozorovaním delfínov a na farmu zvierat Jangmei. Môj sprievodca Jason bol naozaj milý a ochotný! Nemal som žiadny problém s komunikáciou v angličtine. Delfíny boli nádherné, scenéria úžasná, zvieratá na farme boli všetky priateľské a rozkošné. Ak bývate v Taipei, určite by ste sa mali pripojiť k tomuto zájazdu, pretože je v ňom zahrnutý aj kyvadlový autobus! Počul som, že v pondelok je veľa reštaurácií zatvorených, tak som si priniesol vlastný obed, ale niektoré reštaurácie sú otvorené, takže nie je potrebné pripravovať si obed.

The tour fee was affordable and definitely worth it. I didn’t feel tired during the trip because everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The places we visited were all amazing, especially the Yilan Traditional Arts Center performances, Kavalan Distillery, and Jiaoxi. I enjoyed everything so much. We also got discounts when buying products at the Kavalan store, which made the experience even better.

Jednoznačným vrcholom prehliadky je liehovar Kavalan. Prehliadka v angličtine bola skvelá – bola rýchla, ale veľmi poučná a sprievodca bol veľmi priateľský a pútavý. Želal by som si, aby bol vyhradený čas v Kavalan dlhší (20-30 minút), pretože to pôsobilo trochu uponáhľane. Zastávka v pivovare potom bola zbytočná, keďže nebola žiadna prehliadka zariadenia ani základné predstavenie typov vyrábaných pív. Odporúčal by som to úplne odstrániť z itinerára. Zastávka v továrni na ryžové víno potom bola v poriadku – predovšetkým z historických dôvodov regiónu Yilan. Ale tiež žiadne základné predstavenie alebo prehliadka zariadenia a jeho histórie. Podľa môjho názoru premrhaná príležitosť. Preskúmanie historickej ulice Shenkeng Old Street bola pekná záverečná zastávka na prehliadke. Veľmi krásna ulica s obchodmi, stánkami, reštauráciami atď. Známa pre smradľavé tofu, takže spravodlivé varovanie pred silným nepríjemným zápachom prenikajúcim väčšinu ulice. Ale veľmi nostalgická s krásnym výhľadom na rieku vedľa ulice.

Love the kavalan whiskey visit. It was an eye opening trip. The environment was pleasant and the whiskey tasting was lovely. There was sufficient time allocated for it and we had enough time to ask the sales questions to get the whiskeys we wanted. The gelato whiskey are a must try. The craft beer visit was interesting too although i would think the alcohol is a little too much and not to my taste but the experience over fun overall. The view up in the tower overlooking the area is fun though. Taiwan Brewery as the last stop was nice. The place was big and the history of it could be seen. The Shaoxing soaked eggs are also a must try. By this time, i had too much alcohol to be able to try any beer here but the recommendation of the 18 days beer by our influencer tour mate was a wonderful recommendation. The old street was a lovely walk down history too.

on July 8, 2026 - I had a Fabulous KLOOK trip to Yehliu Geo park, Jiufen old town, Waterfall, & Shifen Sky Lantern experience! Our Guide (Richard) was Great: sharing his knowledge of Taiwan and the areas we visited, & which shops he thought were best to purchase teas, pineapple cake, Pork Noodle Soup, Taiwanese sausage - which was very helpful. Richard did a great job keeping us on-time so everyone had a great time. The bus was clean and had air conditioning - which was helpful in the summer heat. I personally enjoyed launching the Sky Lantern- wow! What a joy!! It was like that scene in Disney’s “Tangled”: seeing many Lanterns in the sky. I strongly recommend this tour AND I would take it again! Thanks Richard for your Awesome recommendations!
