Zhang Mei Ama’s Farm rundturer

I’ve gone on so many tours around the world and my whole family agrees this was arguably our favorite organized tour ever. We started hiking to the most breathtaking waterfall (truly! and I’ve seen many). I didn’t want to leave. We saw the friendliest animals on the farm and they were well taken care of and the staff was great. The Geopark was such a cool experience to be able to cook food you pick in a natural way! Amazing. And making a scallion pancake to top it off. The only downside was that it was an extremely hot day. Hydrate the night before it case you have a hot day ahead of you. Again, best tour in Taiwan. Xu Qiyang was a very wholesome guide. He sent information ahead of time that was very thorough and throughout the tour in translated bits to give any passenger in any language needed. We will always remember this trip.

This tour was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Kate Chen, was funny, joyful, generous, and extremely informative. The locations we went to were a great experience and Kate always made it very easy to get back to the bus and communicated timelines well. The bubble tea sample was exceptional. We were given insight of the locations visited beforehand and provided wonderful recommendations and maps texted to us. Also, Luodong night market is one of the best night markets I’ve visited in Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Kate Chen as the guide.

Our guide Toku is simply amazing! super knowledgeable and insightful about many things relating to Taiwan. the farming scene, the delicacies and the history. it was such a peaceful and relaxing time spent with him! he was also very thoughtful and considerate to making places we visit convenient and comfortable for us. it was such an amazing time spent!

Jag åkte på en delfinskådnings- och Jangmei Animal Farm-tur. Min guide Jason var verkligen snäll och hjälpsam! Jag hade inga problem med att kommunicera på engelska. Delfinerna var vackra, landskapet var fantastiskt, djuren på gården var alla vänliga och bedårande. Om du bor i Taipei bör du definitivt följa med på denna tur eftersom transferbussen ingår! Jag hörde att många restauranger stänger på måndagar så jag tog med egen lunch, men vissa restauranger är öppna så du behöver inte förbereda din lunch.

The tour fee was affordable and definitely worth it. I didn’t feel tired during the trip because everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The places we visited were all amazing, especially the Yilan Traditional Arts Center performances, Kavalan Distillery, and Jiaoxi. I enjoyed everything so much. We also got discounts when buying products at the Kavalan store, which made the experience even better.

Den absoluta höjdpunkten på turen är Kavalan Distillery. Den engelska rundturen var fantastisk – den var snabb men mycket informativ och guiden var mycket vänlig och engagerande. Jag önskar att den tilldelade tiden vid Kavalan hade varit längre (20-30 minuter), då det kändes lite stressigt. Stoppet vid bryggeriet efteråt var onödigt eftersom det inte fanns någon rundtur i anläggningen eller ens en grundläggande introduktion till de typer av öl som producerades. Jag skulle rekommendera att ta bort detta från resplanen helt och hållet. Stoppet vid risvinsfabriken efteråt var okej – främst av historiska skäl för Yilan-regionen. Men inte heller där fanns någon grundläggande introduktion eller rundtur i anläggningen och dess historia. Ett bortkastat tillfälle enligt min åsikt. Att utforska historiska Shenkeng Old Street var ett trevligt sista stopp på turen. En mycket charmig gata med butiker, stånd, restauranger, etc. Känd för sin stinky tofu, så var beredd på den starka obehagliga lukten som genomsyrar större delen av gatan. Men mycket nostalgiskt med en vacker utsikt över floden intill gatan.

Love the kavalan whiskey visit. It was an eye opening trip. The environment was pleasant and the whiskey tasting was lovely. There was sufficient time allocated for it and we had enough time to ask the sales questions to get the whiskeys we wanted. The gelato whiskey are a must try. The craft beer visit was interesting too although i would think the alcohol is a little too much and not to my taste but the experience over fun overall. The view up in the tower overlooking the area is fun though. Taiwan Brewery as the last stop was nice. The place was big and the history of it could be seen. The Shaoxing soaked eggs are also a must try. By this time, i had too much alcohol to be able to try any beer here but the recommendation of the 18 days beer by our influencer tour mate was a wonderful recommendation. The old street was a lovely walk down history too.

on July 8, 2026 - I had a Fabulous KLOOK trip to Yehliu Geo park, Jiufen old town, Waterfall, & Shifen Sky Lantern experience! Our Guide (Richard) was Great: sharing his knowledge of Taiwan and the areas we visited, & which shops he thought were best to purchase teas, pineapple cake, Pork Noodle Soup, Taiwanese sausage - which was very helpful. Richard did a great job keeping us on-time so everyone had a great time. The bus was clean and had air conditioning - which was helpful in the summer heat. I personally enjoyed launching the Sky Lantern- wow! What a joy!! It was like that scene in Disney’s “Tangled”: seeing many Lanterns in the sky. I strongly recommend this tour AND I would take it again! Thanks Richard for your Awesome recommendations!
