Zhang Mei Ama’s Farm ture

I’ve gone on so many tours around the world and my whole family agrees this was arguably our favorite organized tour ever. We started hiking to the most breathtaking waterfall (truly! and I’ve seen many). I didn’t want to leave. We saw the friendliest animals on the farm and they were well taken care of and the staff was great. The Geopark was such a cool experience to be able to cook food you pick in a natural way! Amazing. And making a scallion pancake to top it off. The only downside was that it was an extremely hot day. Hydrate the night before it case you have a hot day ahead of you. Again, best tour in Taiwan. Xu Qiyang was a very wholesome guide. He sent information ahead of time that was very thorough and throughout the tour in translated bits to give any passenger in any language needed. We will always remember this trip.

This tour was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Kate Chen, was funny, joyful, generous, and extremely informative. The locations we went to were a great experience and Kate always made it very easy to get back to the bus and communicated timelines well. The bubble tea sample was exceptional. We were given insight of the locations visited beforehand and provided wonderful recommendations and maps texted to us. Also, Luodong night market is one of the best night markets I’ve visited in Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Kate Chen as the guide.

Vores guide Toku er simpelthen fantastisk! Super vidende og indsigtsfuld om mange ting relateret til Taiwan; landbrugsscenen, delikatesserne og historien. Det var så fredfyldt og afslappende tid tilbragt med ham! Han var også meget hensynsfuld og betænksom med at gøre de steder, vi besøgte, bekvemme og komfortable for os. Det var en helt fantastisk tid!

Jeg tog på delfinsafari og Jangmei Animal Farm-tur. Min guide Jason var virkelig venlig og hjælpsom! Jeg havde ingen problemer med at kommunikere på engelsk. Delfinerne var smukke, landskabet var fantastisk, og dyrene på gården var alle venlige og nuttede. Hvis du bor i Taipei, bør du helt sikkert tage med på denne tur, da shuttlebussen er inkluderet! Jeg hørte, at mange restauranter lukker om mandagen, så jeg havde min egen frokost med, men nogle restauranter er åbne, så der er ingen grund til at forberede din frokost.

The tour fee was affordable and definitely worth it. I didn’t feel tired during the trip because everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The places we visited were all amazing, especially the Yilan Traditional Arts Center performances, Kavalan Distillery, and Jiaoxi. I enjoyed everything so much. We also got discounts when buying products at the Kavalan store, which made the experience even better.

Det absolutte højdepunkt på turen er Kavalan Distillery. Den engelske rundvisning var fantastisk – den var hurtig, men meget informativ, og guiden var meget venlig og engagerende. Jeg ville ønske, at den tildelte tid ved Kavalan havde været længere (20-30 minutter), da det føltes lidt forhastet. Bryggeriet efterfølgende var unødvendigt, da der ikke var nogen rundvisning på anlægget eller blot en grundlæggende introduktion til de typer øl, der produceres. Jeg vil anbefale at fjerne dette helt fra rejseplanen. Risvinsfabrikken efterfølgende var okay – primært af historiske årsager for Yilan-regionen. Men der var heller ingen grundlæggende introduktion eller rundvisning på anlægget og dets historie. En spildt mulighed efter min mening. At udforske den historiske Shenkeng Old Street var et dejligt sidste stop på turen. En meget charmerende gade med butikker, boder, restauranter osv. Kendt for den stinkende tofu, så vær advaret om den stærke ubehagelige lugt, der gennemsyrer det meste af gaden. Men meget nostalgisk med en smuk udsigt over floden ved siden af gaden.

Love the kavalan whiskey visit. It was an eye opening trip. The environment was pleasant and the whiskey tasting was lovely. There was sufficient time allocated for it and we had enough time to ask the sales questions to get the whiskeys we wanted. The gelato whiskey are a must try. The craft beer visit was interesting too although i would think the alcohol is a little too much and not to my taste but the experience over fun overall. The view up in the tower overlooking the area is fun though. Taiwan Brewery as the last stop was nice. The place was big and the history of it could be seen. The Shaoxing soaked eggs are also a must try. By this time, i had too much alcohol to be able to try any beer here but the recommendation of the 18 days beer by our influencer tour mate was a wonderful recommendation. The old street was a lovely walk down history too.

on July 8, 2026 - I had a Fabulous KLOOK trip to Yehliu Geo park, Jiufen old town, Waterfall, & Shifen Sky Lantern experience! Our Guide (Richard) was Great: sharing his knowledge of Taiwan and the areas we visited, & which shops he thought were best to purchase teas, pineapple cake, Pork Noodle Soup, Taiwanese sausage - which was very helpful. Richard did a great job keeping us on-time so everyone had a great time. The bus was clean and had air conditioning - which was helpful in the summer heat. I personally enjoyed launching the Sky Lantern- wow! What a joy!! It was like that scene in Disney’s “Tangled”: seeing many Lanterns in the sky. I strongly recommend this tour AND I would take it again! Thanks Richard for your Awesome recommendations!
