Tainan

This was a two-day, one-night stay (checking in Sunday, checking out Monday). It happened to rain heavily, so we mostly stayed in the hotel. It was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing wasn't bad. The room was also spacious. However, the elevator wait was quite long. I can't imagine how long you'd have to wait on a peak day. (I finished my drink while waiting!) The parking lot was fine, though. I had seen some comments saying the parking lot was dirty, but it was acceptable when I went.

Lakeshore is conveniently located and easy to find no matter which direction you arrive from. When the lights are on at night, it serves as a great landmark to help you find your way back. Stepping into the lobby, the gray and white marble decor always gives a spacious and tranquil feeling. The room has a balcony, and you can watch the sunrise directly from the bed, making every morning wake-up quite delightful. Of course, the biggest plus is the breakfast served from 6:30 to 11:00 AM. It shouldn't just be called breakfast, because it isn't simply a single plate of eggs, ham, and hash browns served to guests; the culinary refinement is more like having lunch or dinner. Because of the breakfast at Lakeshore Hotel Tainan, I traveled north from Kaohsiung to stay here once again.

This hotel is very thoughtful. The lobby offers complimentary cookies and drinks 24 hours a day. I was pleasantly surprised to find three flavors of handmade cookies, and the coffee machine had my favorite beverages. There were also two flavors of soda in the mini-fridge nearby. The room was clean, and the game room had a great variety of options, so much so that the kids didn't want to leave. The gym had two full-body massage chairs, which were very comfortable, and the breakfast was also quite good.

We traveled from Hong Kong and specifically booked this hotel because it was convenient for visiting the King of Egypt exhibition at the Chimei Museum. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent, but what truly stands out is that the water for showering and washing hands in the room is specially treated to remove calcium and magnesium. At first, it felt a bit strange when washing, but after looking it up online, we learned that this ultra-soft water is very good for the skin! By the next morning, the acne on my forehead was already fading! Secondly, the breakfast was memorable, with dishes like Hakka stir-fry and cold bitter melon salad. The flavors were unique, and my friend and I both found them delicious, as it's hard to find these tastes in Hong Kong! This was my first time in Tainan, and I'm very satisfied with the place. I believe I'll be back soon to enjoy the ultra-soft water showers and delicious food again!

Friendly staff, clean room, great spa facilities and homey breakfast buffet. Had a great healing time.

Returning after eight years, I noticed the snacks in the room were more thoughtful, now including three oxygen sparkling drinks, facial masks, small snacks, and pineapple pastries, which is a big step up from just providing fruit in the past. Also, the water dispenser in the hallway has a sparkling water option, which is a plus. Surprisingly, after swimming, there was nowhere to put the used towels, requiring the front desk staff to reach out and take them. I suggest the hotel management consider the staff's perspective on this.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. After learning that my father had mobility issues, they proactively upgraded us to a room without stairs, which was incredibly thoughtful and made our stay much more comfortable. The overall service quality was excellent, truly touching and appreciated. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and great flavors. It was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel's location is very close to Anping Tree House & Deji Foreign Firm, and Tongji Douhua. You can walk to Anping Old Street, Anping Fort, Anping Kaitai Tianhou Temple, Acai Beef Soup, Zhou's Shrimp Rolls, and other attractions. There's also a convenient 7-Eleven convenience store nearby, right at the intersection. The hotel offers a welcome afternoon tea with delicious desserts and tasty hot tea, which can be refilled. I think the next day's Tainan historical breakfast set was absolutely amazing! It was very unique, and every dish was delicious. The room was also comfortable. What impressed me most was how friendly and polite every staff member, including the front desk, was. When I asked the front desk to call a taxi, a male staff member even helped open the door and shielded my head as I got in, which truly surprised me. My cousin and I booked this hotel for the first time, and the entire stay was very comfortable. We also had a good experience in other aspects. Personally, if I visit Tainan again in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel!

The Kindness Hotel Group never disappoints! The Slow Travel branch is even newer and more comfortable than the traditional Kindness Hotel, and I absolutely love it. The breakfast, all-day drinks and snacks, and late-night supper make you eat like a happy little pig – it's incredibly delicious! The room is simple and comfortable, the bed is super cozy, and the food is amazing. In a city renowned for its cuisine, even the hotel offers a ton of food – it's almost too much to handle!
