Our ride on the Taiwan High Speed Rail from Chiayi to Taipei was an excellent experience from start to finish. redemption guide: just visit the ticket counter and present your passport, then they’ll give you your tickets 👌🏻 price: got ours as B1G1 to Taichung! steal price 😁we were able to explore three cities seat reservation process: you need to reserve your timeslot from the thsr website.. as for the seats, you can request for an arrangement from the ticketing counter so long as there’s availability. we were able to make adjustments the same day, including an earlier travel time if you arrive at the station early! ☺️

Booked the Taiwan HSR ticket on Klook with the 15% discount from Taichung to Taoyuan and it was honestly super convenient 👍 - The 15% discount made the ticket noticeably cheaper than booking directly - Redemption process with the local website was a bit difficult, need to read the guide step-by-step carefully - Great comfortable and fast option if you need to get to Taoyuan Airport area quickly from central Taiwan

There's a 15% discount for foreigner. It's easy to use. Go to the counter, show them the voucher and passport. They will issue the train tickets to you. Take note of which platform to go and ta-ta, done. You can try their train bento set if you happen to be taking train during lunch time. It's nice and delicious.

We met a helpful snd warm lady, who was assisting and directing tourist. We reached earlier than our booking time, and she brought us to the counter to exchange our THSR tickets to earlier timing. The tickets are definitely worth buying with 50% off. If you are taking train during lunch, they will be selling the train bento. It's worth trying.
