Excursii Claude Monet's House and Gardens

I went because I was invited by relatives who are currently staying in Paris. Since I had visited the Orangerie and Orsay the day before, the experience was even more moving. I'm not very knowledgeable about paintings, so I don't think I would have gone out of my way to visit if I hadn't been invited, but it was absolutely the right decision to go. It was the most memorable place of this trip!

Pe 9 iunie am participat la turul de o zi la Casa lui Van Gogh, Grădinile lui Monet și Palatul Versailles. A fost o experiență rafinată, într-un grup mic. Ghidul nostru a fost foarte profesionist. La locul de odihnă final al lui Van Gogh, am putut vedea câmpurile aurii de grâu unduind în vânt. În plus, turiștii nu au fost nevoiți să stea la coadă pentru bilete, având acces rapid. Grădinile lui Monet sunt absolut superbe, cu flori peste tot, iar peisajul de pe Podul Japonez este pitoresc, cu nuferii din iaz parcă așteptând să înflorească frumos. Palatul Versailles a fost explicat cu multă atenție, permițându-ne să admirăm perioada de glorie a lui Ludovic al XIV-lea.

Monet's house and gardens were very beautiful, and I was able to enjoy the scenery of the Normandy countryside. The length of the stay was also just right. However, regarding the meeting time, I had booked the 9:00 tour, but the instructions for other meeting details stated 8:15, which was confusing. In the end, I went to the meeting point at 8:00 and waited for an hour. Since there were several other groups in the same situation, I hope the descriptions can be made consistent. The tour itself was very good.

The guided tour to Versailles and Monet’s House was well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting stories and historical details along the way. Versailles was absolutely stunning, while Monet’s House and gardens were peaceful and beautiful—especially for anyone who loves art and nature. The transportation and schedule made it easy to visit both places in one day without worrying about the logistics.

A wonderful, well organised trip. the time at each place was correct. the staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. I loved every bit of it. since we were only a group of five, we had a very comfortable car well equipped with water bottles and long charging cables. The accompanying staff was very nice and had answers to all our questions.

My spouse and I took a day tour of Giverny and Versailles. By chance, we were the only participants, making it a luxurious private tour. We were a bit tired and sometimes found it hard to concentrate on the English explanations, but our guide, Dario, was consistently calm and patiently explained everything. We would love to request Dario again on our next visit to Paris. He was also an excellent driver. Thank you very much.

Michael was an incredible guide! He knew what he was talking about and he was very funny and witty, I had the best time. Both places are beautiful and it was really good learning about Van Gogh and Monet. Definitely fell in love with Van Gogh and his work, especially after visiting Auvers-sur-Oise. Worth the trip for sure and would love to come back to take my son!
