Claude Monet's House and Gardens tours

Ik ben erheen gegaan op uitnodiging van familieleden die nu in Parijs verblijven. Omdat ik de dag ervoor al het Orangerie Museum en het Musée d'Orsay had bezocht, was mijn emotie des te groter. Ik heb niet veel kennis van schilderkunst, dus als ik niet was uitgenodigd, zou ik waarschijnlijk niet de moeite hebben genomen om het te bezoeken, maar het was een uitstekende beslissing om te gaan. Het was de meest memorabele plek van deze reis!

Monet's house and gardens were very beautiful, and I was able to enjoy the scenery of the Normandy countryside. The length of the stay was also just right. However, regarding the meeting time, I had booked the 9:00 tour, but the instructions for other meeting details stated 8:15, which was confusing. In the end, I went to the meeting point at 8:00 and waited for an hour. Since there were several other groups in the same situation, I hope the descriptions can be made consistent. The tour itself was very good.

De rondleiding naar Versailles en het huis van Monet was van begin tot eind goed georganiseerd en plezierig. De gids was vriendelijk, deskundig en deelde onderweg interessante verhalen en historische details. Versailles was absoluut prachtig, terwijl het huis en de tuinen van Monet vredig en mooi waren – vooral voor iedereen die van kunst en natuur houdt. Het vervoer en het schema maakten het gemakkelijk om beide plaatsen op één dag te bezoeken zonder je zorgen te hoeven maken over de logistiek.

A wonderful, well organised trip. the time at each place was correct. the staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. I loved every bit of it. since we were only a group of five, we had a very comfortable car well equipped with water bottles and long charging cables. The accompanying staff was very nice and had answers to all our questions.

My spouse and I took a day tour of Giverny and Versailles. By chance, we were the only participants, making it a luxurious private tour. We were a bit tired and sometimes found it hard to concentrate on the English explanations, but our guide, Dario, was consistently calm and patiently explained everything. We would love to request Dario again on our next visit to Paris. He was also an excellent driver. Thank you very much.

Dit is geen rondleiding. We hadden alleen een chauffeur die ons van en naar de attracties bracht.

Michael was an incredible guide! He knew what he was talking about and he was very funny and witty, I had the best time. Both places are beautiful and it was really good learning about Van Gogh and Monet. Definitely fell in love with Van Gogh and his work, especially after visiting Auvers-sur-Oise. Worth the trip for sure and would love to come back to take my son!
