This was by far the best Klook tour I’ve ever been on! My husband and I absolutely loved our guide, Mr. Joe. He was incredibly kind and provided clear, detailed information about the itinerary, meeting point, and drop-off location. We especially appreciated how he shared interesting history about Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara along the way. His English was very clear, which made communication easy and enjoyable. We were also lucky enough to ride Cabin No. 5 on the Sagano Romantic Train, and we didn’t miss out on the Hozugawa River boat rafting experience either. It was truly a memorable day! Okani Mr Joe! Hope we meet again!

Dacă luați trenulețul turistic și apoi barca pe râul Hozugawa, cel mai bine este să lăsați un interval de o oră și jumătate, de exemplu, trenulețul la ora 11:00 și barca la 12:30. we were able to find this shop fairly easily with an A-frame sign at the entrance. The area is a shared space with a few other craft workshops as well. There’s a restroom you can use once you are up the stairs. Elvie was our instructor. She gave very good instructions and demonstrations as well as helped with some finishing touches to our chopsticks. They have several types of wood you can upgrade to ranging from 4000 to 8000 yen. There are 3 types that we got to choose from that were already included with the price. I chose the Taiwan Cypress and my brother chose Hinoki. We opted for the optional laser engraving for an additional 1000 yen and it was well worth it! Such a great experience! a lovely souvenir to take back home. I will for sure be using them!

Walking from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, we were lucky that the weather in April wasn't too hot. There was a pleasant breeze the whole way, which was very comfortable. The onsen was hosted by two people, one man and one woman. Although I don't speak Japanese, I understood what they were saying, so communication was not a problem.

Aceasta a fost una dintre experiențele noastre preferate în Arashiyama. Great, affordable way to visit many temples in the one day. You can depart from kyoto or osaka and on the tour, you'll receive information from a guide on the bus overviews where you're going next, but then you're free to explore. Perfect way to see the main sites without having to so many trains all over the city. The guide kindly provided the option to eat at a restaurant as a group and most meals were 2000 yen each, or more for fancier options like beef. This worked well as we paid him on the bus & the food was delicious, pre - ordered and brought out on our arrival, saving time to focus on touring the temples. Very efficient & so much food I didnt eat it all. Highly recommend this tour.

For my graduation trip to Japan, I tried on a kimono for the first time, and it was the best money I spent! I looked at many shops and finally chose this one in Arashiyama, and it was such a pleasant surprise 😭 I have absolutely no regrets or complaints. Everything, from the service to the quality of the kimonos, the hairstyles, and the overall experience, was perfect. First, there were so many kimono styles to choose from. I picked a lace one, which was included in the package, and the quality was excellent. It looked very elegant and expensive in photos, and so kawaii! There was a wide variety of hair ornaments and kimono accessories, and the owner even helped me choose styles, which was great for someone like me who has trouble making decisions. The lady who helped me put on the kimono was absolutely wonderful! She heard it was my first time and said she would make sure it was put on perfectly so it wouldn't loosen no matter how much I moved around. She kept asking if it was too tight, ensuring maximum comfort. I wore it all day without any discomfort. I especially want to praise their hairstylist, who is Japanese. Japanese hairstyles really are something special! My hair is a mullet, with varying lengths, but she still managed to create a beautiful updo. It looked gorgeous all day. In short, I will definitely choose this shop again next time! My friend and I chose a blue and a pink one, and they matched perfectly!

Tocmai am încheiat minunata noastre excursie în Nara și Kyoto alături de cel mai energic și prietenos ghid turistic, Frederick (Fred)! Chiar dacă astăzi a plouat torențial, Fred a făcut ca întreaga excursie să fie extrem de distractivă. Ne-a împărtășit o mulțime de informații interesante și povești în timp ce eram în autocar, așa că nu ne-am plictisit deloc pe parcursul călătoriei. De asemenea, a trimis toate punctele de întâlnire și locațiile în mod clar în grupul nostru de chat, ceea ce a făcut totul foarte simplu și comod pentru noi. Fred ne-a întâmpinat mereu cu un zâmbet larg și o energie extrem de pozitivă. Chiar și atunci când nu mâncase încă și era udat de ploaie, el a continuat să aibă grijă de toată lumea și să se asigure că ne simțim bine. De asemenea, ne-a surprins cu o carte poștală ca mică amintire pentru a ne reaminti de această zi specială. A fost un gest atât de atent și neașteptat, pe care l-am apreciat enorm! ❤️ Mulțumim din suflet, Fred, că ai transformat excursia noastră în Nara și Kyoto într-o experiență atât de memorabilă!
