This was one of the best tours I have been on and so comprehensive learning about what led up to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and how it affected both Herculaneum and Pompeii. Our guide, Fredo, was excellent. He answered all of our questions and was so knowledgeable about the area and how the eruption solidified these two towns in time. He was great at explaining the similarities and differences of both the towns back in 79 A.D. and the ruins/excavation/preservation of both sites to this day. Fredo also pointed out all of the best aspects of what is so significant about the ruins and highlighted the artistry of the architecture and art throughout the city in the various mosaic and frescoes. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in learning about the history of these two towns. Just make sure to bring water and things to cover up (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.) as the day we went was sunny and hot.

We truly enjoyed this full day excursion even if it was short as the travel time was lengthy. Our guide on that day was great and made sure that we were together even though it was such a big group. People stuck to the timeline so it was timely in transitioning to the next area.

Angie and Josephine were organized and tried their hardest to keep the group together. We really appreciated their effort and the Pompei ruins were so interesting! The lunch before the Vesuvius hike was a thoughtful touch. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, the trek to the crater is quite challenging.

We happened to select dates that coincided with an Italian cycling race, which meant we couldn't visit downtown Naples. We received a notification email three days before the trip, which even mentioned the option to help reschedule. At the time, we figured we could still visit Pompeii, so we didn't reply. To our surprise, the staff member specifically called to check in with us—we are truly grateful for their diligence and responsibility. We initially thought everyone had received advance notice, but upon gathering on the day of the tour, we realized that quite a few companions who booked through other platforms hadn't been notified at all; they only found out about the inability to go to Naples through the guide upon check-in. At that moment, we were genuinely glad we booked the itinerary through Klook. Our Italian guide was extremely professional and passionate about this land, fluently introducing the unique scenery, famous sights, and historical stories of all the places we passed along the way in both English and Spanish. They also provided plenty of visiting suggestions for those in our group who weren't joining the guided tour of Pompeii, as well as practical information for our dessert time in modern Pompeii, making the trip immensely rewarding! A huge thank you to our dedicated and friendly guide and driver!

it’s really value of the money. Good is they take you to the place and give you enough time to enjoy and walk in different area. shame I was booked it too late so can’t join others pack but it’s also good for it.

Thanks to our tour guide Michela, Pompeii guide Lily, and the Vesuvius guide (apologies, I don't remember his name) for their thoughtful and comprehensive introductions. Michela kindly led us throughout the day, Lily's detailed knowledge of Pompeii was impressive, and the Vesuvius guide's understanding of the volcano clearly showed his passion for nature. I distinctly remember after leaving Pompeii, our guide Michela quoted a line from the Bible's Ecclesiastes: "There is nothing new under the sun." This allowed us to imagine the lives of people 2,000 years ago through the ancient ruins and mountainous terrain! Due to the system's 3MB photo upload limit, I couldn't provide many of my good photos. I hope the system can improve this aspect.

Such a good day out! We highly recommend this to anyone staying in Naples but wanting to experience both the coast and the history of Pompei

The audio guide announced by the bus driver where you get off the bus is a private one! Do not go there~~ Once you buy your ticket and go inside, there is an official audio guide information desk! (Korean available) At the private audio guide rental shop, even after I asked for Korean and they checked the Korean passport I had laid out, they made me pay first (20 euros for two). Only then did they say there was no Korean, that they thought it was English because I spoke in English, that it couldn't be canceled because I paid by card, and offered a book instead. With no other choice, I accepted the English one, and when I rented the official audio guide inside, it was 14 euros for two. Although the pronunciation is a bit awkward, the Korean explanation is well done. Based on a cruise shore excursion, getting off, walking to find the bus stop, taking the bus, and making the round trip was not difficult.
