Hsinchu Zoo is located in Hsinchu City, and while not large, the admission ticket is very affordable, with a full-price ticket costing only 50 NTD. There is an underground parking lot available, costing 20 NTD per hour on non-holidays. In the Malayan Tapir area, you can see tapirs playing and grooming. If you're lucky, you might spot squirrels scurrying along the roadside. It's a great place to take children.

Our tour guide, Bratt Kao, was excellent, and the weather was perfect. The children were very happy after visiting the zoo. However, it was very windy at Nanliao Fishing Port and the Hantian Yixian scenic area, so the children couldn't bear it and left immediately after seeing it. This meant we arrived early at Meishan Crab Trail, where the tide hadn't receded yet. Bratt quickly arranged for us to visit Mazu Temple and Baoan Temple to pray, and also to have a short break at a coffee shop while waiting for the tide to recede. As a result, we successfully saw mudskippers and small crabs, which made us very grateful to Bratt for giving the children such a wonderful day.

It's cheaper than buying tickets on-site. The place is small, and you can finish exploring in about an hour. There's a good variety of animals, including tigers, bears, meerkats, and more. My favorite is the tiger; it was very hot that day, and the tiger kept pacing back and forth, which made me feel a little sad for it.
