Coisas para fazer em Oahu

Eu ameeeei a vista e tudo no cenário, mas o passeio foi meio corrido. Acho que precisávamos de mais tempo para fotos e, pelo menos, para apreciar cada detalhe do passeio, porque nem todo mundo tem o privilégio de refazer a mesma excursão. NÓS-PRECISAMOS-DE-TEMPO... é um passeio. Ah, e começamos tarde, foi por isso, tsk tsk. O guia turístico foi ótimo, no entanto; ele era divertido e bem-informado. Só estava com pressa.

O motorista foi ótimo, nos deu muitas informações e detalhes históricos durante o passeio, então aprendi bastante sobre o Havaí. Recomendo experimentar as rosquinhas da Leonard!

My parents and my father-in-law and I took the bus driven by Mr. Oli. They are quite elderly, and by that point in the trip, they were starting to feel tired. However, they were very satisfied with the trolley tour along the Hawaiian coast, enjoying the cool breeze. Throughout the ride, Mr. Oli provided many explanations and shared interesting stories about the main points of interest, making it a very enjoyable time.

It was a wonderful experience! The boat moved faster than I expected. When I went out on the deck, it was a bit windy, but the American flag was waving, and I was able to take some great photos. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset, but we did see a beautiful evening sky. After that, we saw the Waikiki night view from the ocean, which is a rare sight. And the fireworks were beautiful too. The food was delicious, and the hula dance show was powerful and very good. I highly recommend participating if you visit Hawaii.

O guia turístico era muito animado e positivo, e não forçava a gorjeta (embora, claro, seja educado dar uma). Ao chegar ao estacionamento, atravesse primeiro o prédio da loja de souvenirs para trocar o seu ingresso, vá ao banheiro, depois espere no local designado, faça o check-in novamente e só então embarque no ônibus. É necessário chegar com antecedência.

We chose the highest altitude, but if you have children, I think it would be better to go with a lower one. We were told that if it got too high and scary in the middle, we could make an 'X' sign and they would adjust it, but in reality, once you're already up there, it was difficult to communicate with the captain. Riding the boat to the parasailing location was also a lot of fun! Overall, everyone was very kind, though there was one person who seemed a bit frustrated because of the language barrier.

Initially, the bus arrived 15 minutes late to the meeting point, but that was my only moment of anxiety. The free malasadas, the magnificent nature and scenery, Dole Plantation, seeing sea turtles while snorkeling, the exquisite garlic shrimp, and the Jurassic Park filming locations—everything was so packed that 10 hours flew by in an instant. Our tour guide, Dirk, seemed to have been an English teacher in Tokyo, so he was fluent in Japanese. Since everyone else in our group was foreign, the tour was conducted entirely in English, but when he spoke to us, he used fluent Japanese. He was so proficient that he could even crack jokes in Japanese. This was my first time in Hawaii, and I'm already planning to go back soon.

Super worth the money and managed to save by booking through the pass! Bookig was pretty straightforward. Did have trouble trying to book the surfing activity at the start but Klook sorted that out for me. The turtle snorkelling I also ended up having to pay extra to snorkel cause the pass only covered a boat tour but even with that I still saved by using the pass. Just gotta read the activity details better first next time.
