Coses a fer a Oahu

M'encanta la vista i tot el que hi ha al conjunt, però el recorregut va ser una mica precipitat. Crec que necessitàvem més temps per fer fotos o, almenys, per gaudir de cada cosa del recorregut, perquè no tothom té el privilegi de repetir el mateix recorregut. NECESSITEM TEMPS... és un recorregut. Ah, i vam començar tard. Per això. Tsk tsk. El guia turístic va ser genial, però. Era divertit i tenia molts coneixements. Només anava amb presses.

El conductor va ser bo, ens va donar bona informació històrica i detalls durant el nostre recorregut, així que vaig adquirir coneixements sobre Hawaii. Recomano provar els dònuts de Leonard!

My parents and my father-in-law and I took the bus driven by Mr. Oli. They are quite elderly, and by that point in the trip, they were starting to feel tired. However, they were very satisfied with the trolley tour along the Hawaiian coast, enjoying the cool breeze. Throughout the ride, Mr. Oli provided many explanations and shared interesting stories about the main points of interest, making it a very enjoyable time.

It was a wonderful experience! The boat moved faster than I expected. When I went out on the deck, it was a bit windy, but the American flag was waving, and I was able to take some great photos. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset, but we did see a beautiful evening sky. After that, we saw the Waikiki night view from the ocean, which is a rare sight. And the fireworks were beautiful too. The food was delicious, and the hula dance show was powerful and very good. I highly recommend participating if you visit Hawaii.

The tour guide was very lively and positive, and didn't pressure us for tips (though it's still polite to give one, of course). After arriving at the parking lot, we first went past the souvenir shop building to exchange our tickets, use the restroom, then waited at the designated spot, and checked in again before boarding the vehicle. Arriving early is necessary.

We chose the highest altitude, but if you have children, I think it would be better to go with a lower one. We were told that if it got too high and scary in the middle, we could make an 'X' sign and they would adjust it, but in reality, once you're already up there, it was difficult to communicate with the captain. Riding the boat to the parasailing location was also a lot of fun! Overall, everyone was very kind, though there was one person who seemed a bit frustrated because of the language barrier.

Al principi, l'autobús va arribar 15 minuts tard al punt de trobada. La incertesa només va durar aquell moment inicial. El nostre guia turístic, en Dark, sembla que havia estat professor d'anglès a Tòquio i parla japonès amb fluïdesa. Com que tots els altres participants eren estrangers, la guia es va fer en anglès, però quan parlava amb nosaltres, ho feia en un japonès perfecte. Fins i tot feia bromes! Va ser la meva primera vegada a Hawaii, però penso tornar-hi aviat.
