I participated with my 70-year-old parents and a friend, a total of four people. My parents were especially thrilled. They said they had a lot of fun and it became a great memory. For those who don't get much exercise, be prepared for muscle soreness after the activity. Those who feel they didn't ride very well seem to experience back pain. However, it was a truly good experience. I recommend it. Below is a detailed report. The parking lot was large and free, so we enjoyed the drive from Waikiki on the highway with Hui! As I had researched, it was a spacious parking lot, and even though it was Saturday afternoon, we easily found a spot. When I told the reception that I had a reservation, they confirmed it by my last name, checked the passport of only the reservation representative, and handed us a list of precautions written in Japanese. The process was very smooth. We had arrived with plenty of time to spare, just in case, but the local guidance was clear and much smoother than expected, so we had extra time. We bought hot dogs ($5) and canned coffee ($2) at a local shop for a light meal to pass the time. I was worried about the weather, but it was clear and sunny, so the sun was strong. Although some people wore short sleeves, I wore long sleeves for sun protection. Helmets can be worn over hats or caps. Cell phone shoulder straps are not allowed, but you can rent a bag to put your belongings in and take on the horse. Water and cell phones can be put in this bag. There's a cautionary video that is available in Japanese. However, once the activity starts, everything is in English. It's not difficult to understand, so I don't think it will be a problem for those who don't speak English. Taking photos with your cell phone during the horseback riding is allowed. The instructor also takes photos and shares them via AirDrop after the activity. As is common at tourist spots, photos taken by a photographer are sold for $20 each, and you'll be posed for photos during the ride. Before the activity, I thought I wouldn't need them, but after the activity, it was such a good experience that I thought, 'Maybe I should buy them as a souvenir.' (It was great this time because it was clear and sunny, but if it had rained, the impression would likely have been quite different.)

The horseback riding experience was very novel and fun. The staff provided professional instruction and guidance, and riding a horse amidst such spectacular scenery was truly an unforgettable memory.

I was very satisfied with the horseback riding experience, as it was much longer than when I tried it about 10 years ago. I was a bit concerned about the higher price, but since both the duration and distance were extended, I am extremely happy with it.

Había visto una reseña (¿quizás era una reseña antigua?) que expresaba preocupación por los caballos, pero para nosotros, parecían estar en excelentes condiciones y bien cuidados, por lo que pudimos ver. Puede que no cubra tanto terreno como los recorridos en vehículos motorizados, pero el camino que tomamos fue perfecto, comenzando a la sombra, luego a lo largo del borde de la montaña con vista al mar, luego hacia el valle, y luego de nuevo a la sombra, todo con impresionantes vistas de las montañas como telón de fondo. Fue tranquilo y hermoso, y no puedo imaginar una mejor manera de ver Kualoa Ranch. Riding horses through the magnificent natural scenery of the Jurassic Park filming locations is an absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommended.

The event was canceled 10 minutes before it was scheduled to start due to sudden strong winds. I was shocked, but I suppose it couldn't be helped, thinking of the horses. They changed it to a car-touring course for us (for the same price), which was also enjoyable. The service was good, and it was a fun drive. We were able to take many photos at each point.

The horseback riding activity was a lot of fun. We could take our time taking photos, and the guide was very attentive to everyone. It was a great experience! 👍
