Coisas para fazer em Healesville Sanctuary (Zoos Victoria)

Simon is the driver and tour guide. He is very professional and customer oriented. He has a great sense of humour. We have enjoyed this one-day trip very much!

Our tour guide didn't provide much commentary on the way. After taking us to the train, we boarded individually, and the itinerary felt a bit rushed. The weather was excellent that day, so we saw some incredibly beautiful scenery. However, the train only offered a one-way trip, so remember to take photos quickly on the outbound journey.

The driver was very humorous and interesting! He patiently took photos for us, and his photography skills were excellent. He took great care of the passengers. The overall itinerary was moderately paced and quite comfortable. Plus, there were very few people at Healesville Sanctuary, so we could enjoy exploring the animals ourselves, though it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't touch any of them. The Puffing Billy train was very fun, and many people waved to us along the way! I loved it. We arrived back in the city around 6:50 PM, which didn't affect our evening activities or rest at all.

Since the main focus was to ride the steam train, and I didn't want a long journey to see penguins, I chose this tour. Although I felt the price was a bit high, convenience was key, and it was fine even for a solo traveler! I was lucky that all the tour members on the bus were great, and the driver was friendly and chatty. The steam train was definitely worth it; the weather was excellent, and the scenery was beautiful. I recommend quickly finding seats with family and friends as soon as you board the train, otherwise, the right side, which has better views, might not have seats available or you might get cut in line! The zoo part of the itinerary was perhaps just okay; we didn't see many kangaroos, but seeing koalas was still very enjoyable! A small incident was that the bus was quite hot, and the chocolate I bought at the chocolate factory melted on the floor!

The zoo is amazing, especially the Flight of the Spirit show. I was wowed by it despite having been there before, and it's definitely a highlight of the day.

The zoo and Puffing Billy were both so much fun! Highly recommended! It was a comfortable small group of about 20 people on a medium-sized bus, and the driver was very friendly!

It's well worth participating, and I chose the option with transfer service. The driver arrived on time, and the staff were very professional when the hot air balloon took off. The Yarra Valley scenery is beautiful and very peaceful. I would definitely participate again if I have the chance!
