Passeio Gastronômico pelo Vale do Yarra: Experiência de Vinho, Gin, Queijo e Chocolate

Totalmente recomendable tomar los Yarra Valley Gourmet Tours bajo Go West! Nuestra guía turística Alisha fue súper fantástica y atrevida, me encantó la forma en que nos dio pequeños datos curiosos sobre cada parada a la que íbamos. Eso hizo que cada interacción con los propietarios fuera súper divertida y genuina. Para este tour fuimos a los siguientes lugares: 1. Balgownie Estate - tuvimos una degustación de 5 vinos allí presentados por Nicola. Cada vino estaba delicioso y pasamos un buen rato caminando por el lugar después. 2. Coldstream Dairy - nos recibió Sparkles el perro, y sus quesos de pimienta y arándano eran tan buenos que terminé comprando ambos. También hacen mermeladas y conservas. 3. Four Pillars Distillery - obtuvimos el G&T Paddle donde probamos 3-4 tipos de ginebras con un mezclador de nuestra elección (yo tomé limonada). ¡Una experiencia realmente súper! Mi favorita fue la Bloody Shiraz Gin con cítricos oscuros. 4. Rochford Wineries - esta fue la parada para almorzar de nuestro tour (yo comí la paleta de res cocinada a fuego lento durante 16 horas - ¡tan tierna!) y después tuvimos una degustación de vinos presentada por Freddy. También venden whiskies (botellas grandes y pequeñas) y otros vinos como el Moscato (¡hay que probarlo!) 5. Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery - nos llevaron a una sala donde nos dieron degustaciones de su chocolate. ¡El regaliz de frambuesa cubierto de chocolate con leche y las fresas liofilizadas cubiertas de chocolate son lo mejor! ¡Una experiencia realmente fantástica para mi primera vez en Melbourne, recomendación de 5 estrellas para aquellos que quieren un tour de comida y vino bien organizado!

The Go West Tours bus picked us up promptly at the hotel entrance in the morning. After leaving Melbourne city and driving for about an hour, the scenery changed to vineyards and farms. We arrived at the first winery, Balgownie Estate, where we sampled 5 different wines with explanations from the winery's guide. The second stop was for cheese! At the cheese shop (Coldstream Dairy), we tasted three types of cheese with crackers and many kinds of jams. Next, we headed to a famous gin distillery, Four Pillars. The distillery prepared four different gin samples for each person, and we could choose to add tonic water, lemonade, or sparkling water. At this point, many people started to get rosy cheeks. Then, we went to Rochford Winery for lunch, where we could choose between red or white wine. After lunch, everyone had another wine tasting, trying four wines from the winery's menu, plus a dessert wine. The last stop was a chocolate and ice cream shop, where we sampled over a dozen types of chocolate. We also bought two large scoops of ice cream ourselves, filling our stomachs with sweet delights. We got back on the bus, feeling slightly tipsy and sweet, ready to return to Melbourne. This Yarra Valley Winery and Gourmet Day Tour was truly rich in content. It's worth mentioning that our driver and guide, Terry R., was enthusiastic and humorous, and his driving skills were excellent!

The trip was Great! We got a variety of items: cheese, wine, chocolate, and gin. It was particularly good since some of us don't drink. The lunch was gourmet dinner quality, what a surprise! Our tour guide Lucy was excellent. Her pleasant personality and lively briefings throughout the journey made the trip so much more fun, bringing people together. We were blessed to have her.

There’s a lot of pick up locations to choose you can chose which location to pick you up! Went on the tour with Tom (Go West!) he was amazing… a non stop eating and drinking, went to Balgownie then somewhere a family owned dairy for cheese platter then a new add on activity at Four pillar “Gin Tasting” after that another wine tasting at Rochford together with lunch. For this Gin Tasting, my preference is better to had Gin Tasting after lunch instead of empty stomach. As for lunch time, we had choices of steak/salmon/chicken/vegetarian, foods were super delicious!! Highly recommend!! Lastly end with nice chocolate tasting and the chocolates were yummy Strongly recommended for this tour!

Our guide, Bill, was fantastic—friendly, extremely funny, and full of energy. The trip was excellent, with great wine, gin, pizza and cheese tastings. One suggestion for an even better experience: ending the tour with some ice cream in the Yarra Valley would be a perfect final touch.

The Yarra Gourmet experience was a lot of fun! I got to taste a variety of wines , gin, cheese and chocolates. the lunch provided was delicious and definitely worth it.

This tour by Go West Tours was the best tour we had in Melbourne. We were given ample time at each of the 5 locations. Our favourite was the Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. The coconut-macadamia praline was so tasty that we bought so many of it. The dairy shop where we had the cheese tasting platter was good too. Only felt that the lunch could have been better. Otherwise a great trip!

Despite being anosmic from birth, I really enjoyed the gourmet tour. It was a delightful exploration of taste and the overall experience. Our guide, Laney, was incredibly fun and made the experience enjoyable for everyone.

絕對不可錯過的旅程，不管是芝士廠及朱古力廠，或重點的三間酒廠都無與倫比，而酒莊的午餐更令人喜出望外。以性價比論，應該是整個墨爾本行程中的不二之選。另外司機兼導遊Aaron 風趣兼細心，沿途講解清晰，令整個旅程生色不少。

This is a must - do in melbourne. We were taken to 5 different places with 2 sessions of wine tasting which were soooo good. The lunch was perfect. The cheese was amazing. I love the cheese with cranberries. The organic farm was impressive to me with how they put alll their hearts in growing the organic produce. Lastly the chocolate factory was like a dream. The scenery was so prettyyy and i loved it. Our tour guide Jon was wonderful, too. Please dont miss it, you will like it as much as i do.
