Passeios por Kuranda Koala Gardens

The planning was quite good, and the driver explained the itinerary in detail during the trip. He was very patient in helping to solve problems. The zoo and experiences at the rainforest station were quite interesting, but Kuranda village was a bit boring.

This review is based on the Skyrail experience since my railroad trip was cancelled due to too much rain. The original itinerary was to take the Skyrail over to Kuranda and the railroad back from Kuranda. The Skyrail ride was just OK. You got to see all the tops of the trees and maybe if the weather was nice maybe you get a better view but today I was there. It was very cloudy and it’s hard to see off to the distance. There were some nice views of Barron Falls. While I was in Kuranda, I hiked to the Barron Falls viewing point that you would see from the railroad. I believe the views from the railroad side were nicer.

Spending a day in Kuranda was both busy and delightful. At the Rainforest Center, I had the chance to take a photo with Koloa, which was a real highlight. Because of the crowds, I decided to skip the Army Duck ride, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, the trip was wonderful and full of memorable moments.

Had a great first day exploring Cairns! :D It was seeing a bit of everything yet it was really informative. Our guide, Chris, took good care of everyone, always ensuring everyone was accounted for before leaving, and he even helped me take a photo at the Campbell Lookout as he knew it was my first time in Cairns and I was traveling alone. The bus was small but comfortable for our group size, and everyone was such a fun bunch.

Really enjoyed the Great Ocean Road tour! William, our driver and guide, was wonderful and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. He made the long drive enjoyable and the whole experience very pleasant. Highly recommend this tour!
