Excursão de um dia ao Rainforestation Nature Park saindo de Cairns

The planning was quite good, and the driver explained the itinerary in detail during the trip. He was very patient in helping to solve problems. The zoo and experiences at the rainforest station were quite interesting, but Kuranda village was a bit boring.

The Rainforestation experience was very fulfilling and satisfying. In particular, there were many things for children to enjoy, such as the Army Duck boat and the introduction to Aboriginal culture and shows, which made it a lot of fun. However, the bus transfer took a considerable amount of time and was tiring because it stopped at many hotels. For those staying nearby, we recommend taking a taxi or a local bus.

The army duck ride was so fun. Highly recommend everyone to go. It’s like having a biology class in person. It was a pity that we didn’t take the sky rail as we were not aware of it when choosing the packages.

Take the shuttle bus to Kuranda Rainforest Park. First, head to the Skyrail station. Since the package tour didn't include the Skyrail, I bought a ticket myself at the station. I highly recommend taking the Skyrail up the mountain! Along the way, you can see the ocean views of Port Douglas and towering rainforests. You can even get off midway for a guided tour. At the second stop, you'll see a magnificent waterfall, which is absolutely worthwhile! The rainforest park also offers some indigenous cultural experiences. The full-day itinerary is quite rich and interesting. In the afternoon, you'll be taken back to Kuranda Village, where there are some small shops to buy souvenirs.

I really enjoyed the Rainforestation Nature Park. It is small, but the army duck tour was educational and you're able to pet kangaroos. The Kuranda Village is just a marketplace and most of the shops are closed by 3pm. Looking back I would have stayed longer in the Nature Park to observe the animals instead. Overall good experience though.

The national park isn't very big, but if you just want to experience and learn about the rainforest, it's a great choice. The driver who picked us up was very friendly.

It's incredibly fun, the cable car views are amazing, and you can hug koalas and get close to kangaroos.
