Excursão de Dia Inteiro Grand Kuranda saindo de Cairns

Spending a day in Kuranda was both busy and delightful. At the Rainforest Center, I had the chance to take a photo with Koloa, which was a real highlight. Because of the crowds, I decided to skip the Army Duck ride, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, the trip was wonderful and full of memorable moments.

Most of the tour group members were elderly, and I initially thought the itinerary would be boring, but it turned out to be unexpectedly fun. The cost already included the Kuranda Scenic Railway, which is usually difficult to book for independent travelers. The journey takes over an hour, with stops along the way for photo opportunities. The crew on the National Park amphibious vehicle was very enthusiastic, sharing various facts about the rainforest throughout the trip. Additionally, you can pay extra for a private photo session with a koala, and you can also freely interact with kangaroos and take photos with them. The return journey on the Skyrail takes 45 minutes, with two stops where you can get off, walk around, and take photos. It's definitely worth experiencing the rainforest from a completely different perspective. Overall, the itinerary was well-paced, and the time management was just right.

We embarked on a beautiful train journey, surrounded by stunning scenic views and supported by the lovely staff who took great care of us. Upon arrival at the village, we explored the rich heritage and Aboriginal culture, which was truly fascinating. We then visited the Butterfly Sanctuary,it was absolutely magical. We began the trip with a train ride with beautiful views along the way. When we arrived at the village, we were free to explore the different shops and attractions like the butterfly sanctuary. Then we got to explore the rainforest by truck/boat vehicle and were introduced to the indigenous tribe culture. We also got the chance to interact with some Australian wildlife and the cable car ride at the end gave us really magnificent views.

I'm writing this in Korean for the convenience of Korean speakers. There are already many English reviews, haha. Most of the native English-speaking guides in Australia are very cheerful and have the generosity of a country grandfather. They hand out detailed itineraries in case you don't understand English, and they always check that everyone is present before moving on. For this tour, only the time is fixed, and the guide only takes you from Cairns to Kuranda Village, so please keep this in mind when booking. The small zoo where animals are raised like wildlife, and the aboriginal performance were surprisingly fun, and the Australian-style meat buffet was also delicious.

The tour is definitely worth it as it includes a comprehensive itinerary without feeling rushed. You'll see many butterflies and a variety of wildlife. It's a lovely experience.

The cable car activity was cancelled last minute due to the weather conditions, but other than that, everything was great and it was a fun day trip.

I was impressed with the activities arranged by the tour. On the day I joined the tour, the weather was bad, so the Skyrail ride had to be cancelled, which I accepted. However, the negative experience came more from the driver, because in most tours in Australia, the driver and guide are the same person. This time, I got a driver who didn't explain anything, not even introducing himself to the tour group. He just handed out the tour itinerary for us to read ourselves. And finally, when it was time to drop off the tour members at various hotels, he didn't announce which hotel was at the next stop, so I didn't get off at my own hotel. When I realized it later, I had to get off at the next hotel. When I got off the car, the driver made a displeased face and sound, so I wasn't very impressed with the guide and the transfer service.
