Tours de Kuranda Koala Gardens

Kuranda is a small town. Not as vibrant because not all shops open. Time is quite tight. Nice wildlife park. The 2 kangaroos are very docile and open for closeup photos. There are 2 staffs that came out to share about their animals (Jack and the blue tongue lizard). Boomerang throw is great fun. Highlight is the DUKW tour as the guide/driver shares their wealth of knowledge of the plants in the rainforest. Thumbs up! Great for whole family

The overall schedule was well-arranged; it was packed but not too rushed. We took the train up the mountain, and since the Skyrail was under maintenance, we rode a short section of it (still very spectacular) before taking a shuttle bus down. There were many rich and varied activities, including the Kuranda Market, an Aboriginal boomerang and dance performance, and instrument playing. There was also a World War II amphibious vehicle experience. Overall, it was very worthwhile! I also added on the koala holding experience, which was super cute! The tour guide also provided explanations along the way!

La nostra excursió d'un dia a Kuranda amb Klook va ser una experiència increïble i sense estrès de principi a fi. El servei d'autobús de recollida i tornada va fer que tot el dia fos còmode i sense preocupacions. Ens va encantar l'experiència Skyrail, lliscant per sobre de la impressionant volta de la selva tropical amb vistes increïbles. No oblideu fer les parades per explorar la selva tropical i la vista de les cascades. L'aviari d'ocells va ser un punt destacat, oferint l'oportunitat de veure ocells tropicals de colors de prop al poble de Karunda. El viatge de tornada en tren va ser agradable, i aprendre sobre la fascinant història del ferrocarril va afegir encara més valor. En general, va ser una excursió d'un dia ben organitzada i inoblidable.

I took the affordable Kuranda Riverboat cruise, and it was a good value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to leisurely observe wildlife! The boat was more like a motorized raft, and the experience time was just right. There were only 8 people during this particular time slot. The old captain was humorous and witty, introducing the reservoir and historical constructions along the way. The best part was the ecological experience; not only did we successfully spot wild freshwater crocodiles, but we also got to hand-feed turtles, and swallows even flew by the boat occasionally. I joined the 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM session, which was originally perfectly timed to connect with the last scenic train at 3:30 PM. Unfortunately, the train was canceled that day due to safety concerns, so we had to take a bus back to Cairns city center instead.

El guia va explicar-ho tot de manera molt entretinguda i és la millor manera de gaudir de la selva tropical amb la màxima comoditat. La posta de sol al bosc també és magnífica.
