Passeios por Lindis Pass

This would be by far my best tour ever! And I get to have the front seat during the trip. Our tour guide and driver by the name of Jason - he is nothing but awesome and very cool during our entire trip. He is very knowledgeable and knows Queenstown, Aoraki Mount Cook and other places we've been to very much. I also miss that music playlist that you have, Jason. Lol. Anyway, I joined the Mount Cook and Tasman Glacier tour. We had a couple of stopovers wherein we were able to take photos and selfies especially during the drive to Mount Cook. The view there was nothing but Amazing! He also shared about the story of Shrek the sheep. Snacks and water provided and he kept us well fed and hydrated. I cannot recommend Cheeky Kiwi Travel enough and especially Jason who made the trip, us his passengers safe and relaxed and enjoyed this whole excursion. I will surely book my future travels soon with Cheeky Kiwi. Cheers!

Our guide was Dayton from Cheeky. He is enthusiastic and very positive. He also helped to take pictures. I highly recommend this activity compared to Milford Sound. You need to trek for 3 hours, but the view of Mt. Cook was really worth it. I just hope we had at least 4 hours for a more relaxed trek.

Tuvimos una experiencia excepcional en este tour. Nos preocupaba el tiempo para completar el sendero Hooker Valley, pero lo terminamos con 25 minutos de sobra. La vista era tan impresionante que incluso nos comprometimos al final. Un agradecimiento especial a Ana por ser una guía maravillosa. Era una fuente de conocimiento y también muy amable. Our recent road trip from Queenstown to Christchurch was nothing short of spectacular. This journey is a masterclass in NZ’s natural beauty, offering landscapes that feel pulled straight from a movie set. Leaving Queenstown, the drive through the tussock-clad Lindis Pass is hauntingly beautiful. We made a quick stop in Omarama—before the scenery shifted into the dramatic Mackenzie Country. Lake Pukaki & Mt Cook: Nothing prepares you for the first glimpse of Lake Pukaki. The water is an impossibly bright, milky turquoise. Following the shoreline toward Aoraki/Mt Cook was the highlight; seeing the snow-capped peak of NZ highest mountain reflected in the water is a memory I’ll keep forever. Lake Tekapo: A stop at the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd is essential. The contrast of the stone chapel against the vibrant blue lake is stunning. The final stretch through the Canterbury Plains into Christchurch offered a peaceful transition from the rugged alps to the "Garden City."

I went there for Mount Cook, but I also got to eat salmon and see the lake, and there were so many activities, it was a great deal! We had to transfer midway, but both of our guides were wonderful people.

My family and I had a wonderful time throughout the 13 hour van ride from Christchurch to Queenstown. The cost of the tour is well worth it, since we were able to enjoy all the sights and stops we made. The snacks and lunch were also delicious and filling. Rosie picked us up from our hotel and took us to Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook, while Abbie drove us from Mt Cook to High Country Salmon Farm and then to our Queenstown accommodation. The ride itself felt comfortable and safe. There were 3 vacant seats in Rosie's van, while Abbie's was full with 16 people inside. This was a really fun way to get around. Will definitely recommend Cheeky Kiwi to friends and family!

I really loved the trip. We had enough time to take lots of pictures without feeling rushed at every landmark. Unfortunately, I went the wrong way so I didn’t see the glacier. Overall, I would say the tour guide is really knowledgeable. He took care of everyone on the trip, so I highly recommend him if you want to go on a tour from Queenstown to Tekapo. He talked to us about a lot of knowledge and history about New Zealand, so I didn’t get bored during the trip, and he also took care of everyone on the trip, so I highly recommend him if you want to go on a tour from Queenstown to Tekapo.
