We planned about 30% of our Yunnan trip on our own and booked this tour for the rest of our journey from Dali to Lijiang and Shangri-La. Our tour advisor, Sally, was incredibly patient, and responsive. She answered all of our questions before the trip, and two days before departure we were added to a WeChat group with Sally and our driver, which made communication very easy throughout the trip. A special thank you to our driver, Mr. He Guo Zheng, who truly made our journey even more enjoyable. He was always punctual and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The scenery throughout the trip was absolutely breathtaking. Every destination had something unique to offer, from majestic mountains and peaceful lakes to charming old towns.

The guide was very good, and the scenery was beautiful. My travel companions were all very considerate, and getting out to meet different people really broadened my horizons. The hotel was particularly excellent, though I might have experienced some altitude sickness, so I didn't sleep very well the first two nights. Everything else was great! 👍

I think I was extremely fortunate to join this tour. If you want to experience the wonders of northern Yunnan, including trekking along Hutiaoxia (Tiger Leaping Gorge), marvelous Shangri-La temples, and the golden dawn of Meili Mountain, this is a must-go trip. I have traveled to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Luoyang, the Northeast region, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and even Xinjiang, but this was the best trip so far in China. I am also very grateful to the tour organizer for arranging very nice hotels within a limited budget. I was able to communicate with the guide with my limited Chinese, so it's better to make sure you are accompanied by an English-speaking guide or tour participants ahead of time. But I think if you have a WeChat account, you will be able to communicate with the guide anyway. Thank you, Yang Shifu!

Highly recommended for our first trip to China. Our agent, Sally, was incredibly helpful. We had some changes, but the arrangements were handled perfectly. Accommodation was good, and transport was also excellent. The tour guide was also very nice and friendly.

This tour is highly recommended for anyone looking to travel to Yunnan. The itinerary was really great, it didn't feel rushed, and we felt like we got to visit many places. The accommodations were top-notch and had really great vibes and views. The tour guide assigned to us was Master He, he was very thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire trip. He took us to local eateries and performances when we had time to spare. We learned so much about the history of the many places we drove through, the attractions we visited, and even about the different tribes. I will definitely be bringing my family along again for a trip so they can experience what I experienced. Highly recommend Master He for your tour!

We are family with 1 teenager and 1 primary 5 who enjoyed the trip very much. All the programs were well planned, the itenaries were not too packed and suited our free and easy pace. We have seen beautiful old towns in Dali, Li Jiang and Shangrila. Appreciated the majestic nature of mountain,lake, gorge, prairies etc. Enjoyed bicycle ride, boat ride, horse ride,performance. Especially thank to our great driver Mr 段国繁. He was patient, polite and drove with extreme care. We were well taken care of by him throughout the entire journey.The hotels were comfortable and clean.
