Tour guide: When planning the trip, I inquired with several travel companies, specifically asking if they had female guides. Klook recommended Sister Mei to us, saying that customers who had been with her thought she was exceptionally good. So, after comparing several options, we embarked on a five-day, four-night journey with Sister Mei as our driver. Unexpectedly, Sister Mei turned out to be a fantastic guide – patient, meticulous, conscientious, and responsible. She took everyone's feelings into account and took care of us without us having to say much. Sister Mei thoughtfully prepared fruits, snacks, and local delicacies for us. She never rushed us, cared about whether we were warm enough, and demonstrated excellent driving skills on difficult roads. I knew choosing a female driver and female guide wouldn't be a mistake!

The guide was pretty good, and the scenery was beautiful. The fellow travelers on the road were of high quality. Getting out and interacting with different people broadened my horizons. The hotel was especially nice, but you might experience some physical discomfort going to the plateau. I might not have slept well the first two nights, but everything else was pretty good! 👍

I think I was extremely fortunate to join this tour. If you want to experience the wonders of northern Yunnan, including trekking along Hutiaoxia (tiger leaping gorge), marvelous Shangrila temples, golden dawn of Meili mountain, this is the must-go trip. I have travelled Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Luoyang, Dongbei region, Xiamen and Quanzhou, even Xinjiang, this was the best trip so far in China. I am also very grateful to the tour organizer for arranging very nice hotels with limited budget. I was able to communicate with the guide with my limited Chinese, so it is better to make sure you are accompanying with an English speaking guide or tour participants ahead of time. But I think if you have a wechat account, you will be able to communicate with the guide anyhow. Thank you Yang Shifu！

The driver and tour guide was very down-to-earth, punctual with pickups and drop-offs, and chatting with him gave us a better understanding of the real lives of the locals. During the activity, he also took some photos for us with a professional camera and gave them to us free of charge as souvenirs. He treats travelers with care and dedication, highly recommended!

We highly recommend this package. They promptly provided answers to all of our requests and carefully tailored the itinerary just for our family. The driver, hiking guide, and all the staff at the accommodations were incredibly kind, which left a lasting impression on us. However, since we have a 7-year-old child, getting to Yubeng Village wasn’t easy. Still, the scenery was so breathtaking that it was well worth the effort. We were extremely satisfied with the trip, enjoying both the magnificent landscapes and the excellent service. If anyone around us plans to visit, we would absolutely recommend it. Don’t go through the trouble—travel comfortably with this package!

Very nice 2D1N tour to Shangri-La from Lijiang. Not really recommended if none of the people in your group knows how to speak Mandarin since all of the communication is in Mandarin. Our driver is a tibetan local, very informative and helpful and always on time. The Tusi feast feels just like normal Chinese hotpot, we were expecting more local food, but it comes with shows from the family host. The provided hotel was better than expected. The horse riding at Napahai feels kinda forced since there is nothing else to do there although the horse riding price is quite fair (¥160 per pax for about 1 hour ride). One of the person in our group didn't pay for the horse riding and just wait around the farm for 1 hour. Before going back to Lijiang, we had tibetan lunch at the driver's home.

Our Shangri-La, Yading, and Lugu Lake trip has come to an end. A huge thank you to all the travel consultants for their thoughtful arrangements and daily warm reminders; the hotel arrangements were also spot-on. We're grateful to the platform for assigning Driver and Guide Mr. Li to us. He was always on time for pick-ups and drop-offs, his driving skills were top-notch, and he knew the tourist routes inside and out. He prepared fruits, snacks, and bottled water, which made us feel incredibly cared for. The raincoats, shoe covers, and other travel essentials he provided added necessary security to our journey, enhancing our sense of safety. During the trip, Mr. Li not only explained the customs, traditions, and legends of each scenic spot but also gave us helpful tips on how to avoid tourist traps 👍. A professional platform, excellent travel consultants, and a dedicated guide created an extremely high-quality trip for our whole family. We experienced the history of Dukezong Ancient City, witnessed the sacredness of the holy mountains, felt the wonderland of Yading, and touched the gentleness of Lugu Lake!
