Klook China Yunnan Private Customized Tour (Kunming/Dali/Lijiang/Shangri-La/Xishuangbanna/Pu'er/Tengchong/Jianshui, etc.)

We planned about 30% of our Yunnan trip on our own and booked this tour for the rest of our journey from Dali to Lijiang and Shangri-La. Our tour advisor, Sally, was incredibly patient, and responsive. She answered all of our questions before the trip, and two days before departure we were added to a WeChat group with Sally and our driver, which made communication very easy throughout the trip. A special thank you to our driver, Mr. He Guo Zheng, who truly made our journey even more enjoyable. He was always punctual and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The scenery throughout the trip was absolutely breathtaking. Every destination had something unique to offer, from majestic mountains and peaceful lakes to charming old towns.

We are family with 1 teenager and 1 primary 5 who enjoyed the trip very much. All the programs were well planned, the itenaries were not too packed and suited our free and easy pace. We have seen beautiful old towns in Dali, Li Jiang and Shangrila. Appreciated the majestic nature of mountain,lake, gorge, prairies etc. Enjoyed bicycle ride, boat ride, horse ride,performance. Especially thank to our great driver Mr 段国繁. He was patient, polite and drove with extreme care. We were well taken care of by him throughout the entire journey.The hotels were comfortable and clean. In short I highly recommended Klook customised trip.

Itinerary: We are very grateful to Master Yang for driving us across 3 cities and to over 10 attractions in just 5 days, making our originally planned itinerary even richer. During the trip, Master Yang provided practical travel information, helping us understand the local culture better. Every day, he taught us how to navigate the scenic spots efficiently, avoiding backtracking and making our visits more enjoyable. Easy to communicate with the itinerary planner over WhatsApp and WeChat. While they also provided help for bookings with hotels, we booked our own. Detailed itinerary with timings was only provided few days before. We visited Jade dragon snow mountain, blue moon valley and impression Lijiang show on day 1, Baishuitai and Potatso National Park on day 2 and Songzanlin Monastery, Napa Valley and the prayer flags on day 3. Guide was safe with driving but could be more customer oriented like dropping us off before parking so that we can walk lesser. We also waited 2hours before boarding the ropeway at Jade dragon snow mountain and it was not informed that our ticket was for the 10.30am slot. Guide insisted on early pick up every morning with concerns of traffic jam and we had to miss our hotel breakfast as a result. Did not want us to pay for photo taking at Napa Valley/ prayer flags even though it was not something we minded and wanted to drop us off early at the hotel to rest.

I solo-traveled across Yunnan—Kunming, Dali, Lijiang & Shangri-La—and as someone with limited Mandarin knowledge and zero bandwidth to plan an itinerary, booking this trip through Klook was the absolute best decision! ​They took care of everything from end to end: seamless, on-time pick-ups & drop-offs, train, admissions & hotel booking . I appreciated the dedicated WeChat group coordination, where YiAn provided helpful updates on the weather & timely reminders for big activities like heading up to Shangri-La or visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Stripping away all the logistical stress lifted a massive mental load, allowing me to truly rest, recharge, & enjoy what was a much-needed break. ​I want to offer a very special commendation to Master Yang, who was my driver for the leg of the trip from Dali to Shangri-La. He went far and beyond his duties as a driver, seamlessly stepping in as an incredible local guide who introduced me to experiences I never would have discovered on my own.

Our Shangri-La, Yading, and Lugu Lake trip has come to an end. A huge thank you to all the travel consultants for their thoughtful arrangements and daily warm reminders; the hotel arrangements were also spot-on. We're grateful to the platform for assigning Driver and Guide Mr. Li to us. He was always on time for pick-ups and drop-offs, his driving skills were top-notch, and he knew the tourist routes inside and out. He prepared fruits, snacks, and bottled water, which made us feel incredibly cared for. The raincoats, shoe covers, and other travel essentials he provided added necessary security to our journey, enhancing our sense of safety. During the trip, Mr. Li not only explained the customs, traditions, and legends of each scenic spot but also gave us helpful tips on how to avoid tourist traps 👍. A professional platform, excellent travel consultants, and a dedicated guide created an extremely high-quality trip for our whole family. We experienced the history of Dukezong Ancient City, witnessed the sacredness of the holy mountains, felt the wonderland of Yading, and touched the gentleness of Lugu Lake!

The itinerary was planned exceptionally well, and the gold-standard tour guide, Mr. Xu Bin, provided outstanding five-star service! He is extremely knowledgeable about the local attractions and routes, ensuring we had a fantastic time. We not only had a perfect vacation but also created many precious memories. As foreign citizens of Chinese descent without domestic ID cards, we initially worried about the tickets being inconvenient. However, the itinerary manager and Mr. Xu were incredibly helpful, handling all the reservations and usage throughout the trip, without any issues. Highly recommended for foreign tourists visiting Yunnan for the first time. We will definitely choose them again next time we come to Yunnan!

Many thanks to Master Yinglong for taking care of us throughout the journey! He was very punctual, provided excellent service, and was enthusiastic about helping us order from Meituan and pick up our meals. Along the way, he also introduced us to local history and culture, and shared stories about his hometown, making the trip even more interesting. This trip to Dali, Shangri-La, and Lijiang was absolutely delightful! The itinerary was well-planned, with attractions and transportation booked in advance, making it worry-free and convenient.
