Private Car Tour: Multi-day Chartered Car Tour of Lijiang and Shangri-La, Yunnan

Very comfortable 9 seater that fit 6 adults and 6 luggage (28 inches), and the driver was friendly and accommodated to our schedule with various pit stops for breaks and visit to the washroom as we travelled from Lijiang to Shangri-la. Convenient option!

the journey is very long from Lijiang to Shangri La and I would advise those who wants to come Shangri La to take high speed train here and then ask the person fetch u from there.

this was hands down the best experience of our trip Cus of our driver Adong! he was humorous, reliable, honest, acted as a mini tour guide and provided exceptional service. we travelled from lijiang to shangrila and requested to stop at tiger leaping gorge. the tour company representative was happy to suggest additional stops along the way so we could maximise the experience. when we told Adong our itinerary for the next day he suggested swapping things around which was a great suggestion that saved us time and money. if you are thinking of heading the same route, would suggest that you ask the driver (request for Adong!) to bring you to Napa grassland instead of the old town (the company’s original suggestion). since you are on the road half the day, the driver really makes a difference, and I’m very thankful we got assigned to Adong!

We were very satisfied with the service provided by the chartered car company and the driver. Our flight was delayed for two days due to the typhoon in Hong Kong. The chartered car company and the driver were flexible and accommodating, and they didn't charge any extra fees. During the trip, the driver was familiar with the routes, drove safely, and suggested convenient alternatives based on temporary traffic and weather conditions. The service hours were also flexible. Our family was very satisfied.

It was a wonderful trip - I always felt very safe with my driver, even on mountain roads. It was easy to communicate with him via translation software during the tour. Communication with the operator before/after the trip was in english, without any problems. Although I've booked via Klook only one day before the tour, I got quick responses, and everything went fine - it's a reliable service.

Mr Zhang was a really wonderful driver. He was early for the appointed time and greeted us warmly. He was also friendly and talked facts about the places that we visited. He was open to driving us to places that we wanted to go and also recommended on the route for easy scheduling. He accommodated to us when we said we need halal food. He also helped us to buy tickets as well as gifted us apples before we parted. Highly recommend to engage in his service.

If we had traveled alone, we might have just looked at the scenery and taken photos, but with Driver He's introductions, we gained a deeper understanding of these places, making the entire journey much more meaningful. Our itinerary for the day was quite packed, traveling from Lijiang to Shangri-La with multiple stops at attractions. However, Driver He remained very patient and accommodated our pace, never making us feel rushed. He maintained an excellent service attitude throughout, allowing us to relax, enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the local culture. For us, a good driver doesn't just safely get guests to their destination; more importantly, they make guests feel comfortable, secure, and cared for during the journey. Driver He certainly achieved this. We are very thankful for Driver He's companionship and service today, which created wonderful memories for our trip from Lijiang to Shangri-La. If any friends visit Yunnan in the future and need a private car or a driver familiar with the local area, we will definitely recommend Driver He! the trip planner reached out to us early and have answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly. she has also arranged the itinerary according to our requests and the driver has also been super courteous. he has also accompanied us to the sightseeing spot and has been accommodating to us too. he also noticed we struggled to compete for the queuing line there, he helped us to get to a better queue for the sightseeing cable cars etc. overall an excellent trip planner; highly recommended

Very good experience with this booking. Good communication with the person in charge, and requested a ride from shangrila to Lijiang, and a stopover at tiger leaping gorge. Had to top up addition 400yuan since it is kind of crossing into a different city. The car is very clean, odor free, and the driver is very polite. He does not speak English, and that’s fine. I’d recommend this booking anytime should anyone wish to have a private car transfer.
