The first day we went to Kamikochi, it was cloudy, which was a bit of a shame, but the scenery we captured was still beautiful. If we had been lucky enough to encounter a sunny day, the photos would definitely have been even more stunning (as long as it wasn't raining). On the second day, we went to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, and in the morning, we were incredibly fortunate to see the sun (the weather forecast for the previous day had predicted rain all day). Although we couldn't escape the rain in the afternoon, the scenery we captured at the summit in the morning was truly breathtaking. Finally, I want to express my special thanks to our tour guide, Amy, and our hardworking driver. They truly went above and beyond, tirelessly planning and working hard for the entire trip, which allowed us to have perfect memories and experiences. I must give the entire trip a 5-star rating. Highly, highly recommended!

What to bring: drinks and snacks, waterproof shoes, waterproof jacket, umbrella, hat, phone cross-body strap, backpack, wet wipes. We went on a small tour with 11 people with our Alpan guide. It started at 8 AM and ended at 1:30 PM. Don't go to the Snow Wall first; go to the pond first and walk as far as you can. The Snow Wall can be seen completely in about 25 minutes round trip. You can see the melted pond, the hot springs in the distance, and if you're lucky, even the mascot bird. The bird poses well, so you can comfortably take photos. Although it was a quick tour, like roasting beans over a flash fire, I'm satisfied. Next time, I'm personally thinking of going again in the upcoming winter season. Alpan guide is the best. If you get assigned an Alpan guide, your trip will be comfortable.

I've participated in other one-day tours in Japan before, but there's no harm in comparison – this time, our tour leader Xiao Yu (Yukino) truly exceeded expectations, giving her 101 points wouldn't be an exaggeration! I especially want to sincerely thank our tour leader Xiao Yu (Yukino) and driver Mr. Sun. Both were extremely responsible, polite, and meticulous in their work. Throughout the trip, Xiao Yu (Yukino) consistently used messaging apps to send thoughtful reminders about various important details, such as注意事项, meeting times, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Her arrangements were impeccable, making us feel very secure throughout the journey and allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. What's even more commendable is that Xiao Yu (Yukino) proactively helped group members take photos! Not every tour leader actively does this, which is a huge bonus! Driver Mr. Sun also drove very smoothly and safely, and his attitude was very friendly. Additionally, I must mention that the fellow travelers on this trip were of very high quality; everyone was incredibly punctual and polite, making the entire itinerary exceptionally smooth. A flawless professional team, coupled with excellent fellow travelers, created a top-quality travel experience. If you're planning to book a two-day tour to Tateyama Kurobe and Kamikochi, choosing this tour is definitely the right decision!

We had a great time on this tour and are so glad we booked it! If we could give extra stars, we would. Carp was such a great tour guide — so engaging, friendly, and informative. We appreciated how kind and considerate she was with pointing out where the stamps were when she saw we were collecting them + making sure we were on time but also giving us a lot of grace and space to take in everything. There were clear instructions and communication on how to meet, what the schedule was going to be, and they even provided us food at the end of our long day. Moreover, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route was BEAUTIFUL. We were in awe of everything and truly believe we had such a great time thanks to Carp. She even helped us get into another tour with her last minute for a few days later to Hitachi Seaside Park! The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route tour was definitely one of the highlights of our Japan trip. Thank you Carp!

Nagano Station is a very convenient meeting point. Our guide was very friendly and responsible. At each stop, they made sure all participants were present. The scenery was beautiful. We transferred to different transportation to reach the Alpine. Highly recommended.

This completely shattered the stereotype that "group tour meals aren't good"! What was most touching was Joe's humor, wit, and meticulous care. He continuously explained local history and culture to us along the way and was incredibly patient and accommodating with all sorts of unexpected requests from group members.
