(Somente no verão/outono) Tateyama-Kurobe: Caminhando no "Telhado do Japão"

Although we booked an English-speaking guide, it turned out the guide had lived in Taiwan and could speak Chinese, which was fantastic! 👍 Since we went in September during the off-season, it was just the two of us. Because it was off-season, we didn't have to wait long for the bus, and we were back at Nagano Station by around 5:45 PM. The guide thoughtfully recommended Nagano's local cuisine and attractions. Since we returned to Nagano Station early, they also suggested we visit Zenkoji Temple and then walk along the old street back to the station. It was truly a wonderful and fulfilling day. The guide also recommended we try the hot springs at the mountain hut when we went up to Murodo. Even though the weather was unstable, raining and foggy so we couldn't see anything, soaking in the hot springs ♨️ in the cool weather was very comfortable 😌 and super great! 👍

We were very thankful to our Travel guide “Dai” for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, a scenic route through the Northern Japanese Alps. We had a pleasant and relaxing trip thanks to a careful and reliable young man, who made us understand a lot of information and history about Tateyama Kurobe. Thank you to him and driver “Nishizawa San” for making us get through the full day of the trip safely. Also we made a new good friend from the UK. Thanks to his guidance, we had enough time to visit and enjoy the scenery.

The tour guide's English was excellent, and they provided detailed explanations at each attraction. The mid-sized bus was very comfortable, and the autumn scenery of Tateyama was beautiful. You could take it easy or walk more if you wished.

The weather was not as expected. On November 1st, Murodo was hit by a heavy snowstorm, and the trails were covered in white snow. You need to be careful to stand firm when strong winds hit, but the snowy mountain scenery is beautiful.

The cost for this tour was high. The guide was there to get the tickets and guide us up the mountain. There is food and drinks available but if you have dietary restrictions or are particular with your diet, bring your own food and snacks.

This is one of a kind experience. We had an amazing guide Joyce, she is friendly, helpful, and went all the way out to ensure everyone in the group is taken care of. The arrangement was perfectly organised right from the pick up till the end. The scenery is really amazing, I truly enjoyed my day.

The tour guide was friendly and accommodating, and the schedule was flexible. The pick-up vehicle was very comfortable, and the driver was able to adjust the pick-up and drop-off times flexibly, allowing us to enjoy our trip worry-free.
