Passeios por Katsuoji

It was our 12th day in Japan, all the previous days had been exhausting. I wanted to do this tour on my own, but the children were no longer coping as well. I decided to book this tour a day in advance, and it was the best decision. We visited several places without getting too tired or exhausted, and the happy children continued on. We wouldn't have been able to see so much on our own. Our guide and driver were very kind!!!

The tour was well worth the money, and our guide Gary was very professional. I booked a 1-day tour with Klook when I visited Osaka last winter, and the guide contacted me via WhatsApp beforehand. This time, no one contacted me in advance, which made me very anxious, but everything started very well when we arrived at the meeting point on time as booked. I had a wonderful trip with my husband and children, the lunch was delicious, and enjoying green tea was a lot of fun. You should book this tour if it's your first time visiting the destinations on the itinerary, so you don't have to worry about food or transportation.

Our tour guide, CC, was superb! I was the only English-speaking participant in our group; the rest were Chinese, and she never made me feel left out. She would first provide historical information and quick guides to the group, and then she would check in with me separately afterward! It was rainy that day, but we still managed to go through the itinerary. We had enough time to explore each place, and the pickup and drop-off location is very convenient, especially if you are staying in the Dotonbori area. I would recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers, to save time getting lost and to learn a bit of history about the places as well :)

Huahua was the absolute best tour guide! After two other tours had canceled on us because of the typhoon we were lucky to have been able to book this tour. It was actually a blessing because this was one of the best tours we’ve been on! HuaHua was an excellent tour guide and made sure we knew details and history about every stop we made. He even let us know where we could get the best matcha in Uji! The tour included Uji, Byodo, Kifune Shrine, and Katsuo-ji Temple. We were able to go to every stop with an ample amount of time to roam around and shop! Thank you to HuaHua and his beautiful singing voice for giving us the best tour in Osaka!

We had such a great day on this tour with Apple. Apple was great at giving information about each place before we arrived. We were provided with must see and visit recommendations to help us whilst exploring Arashiama on our own. All of the stops are beautiful. The tour itself was very efficient with just enough time in each place to see all the highlights. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you to tour guide Xiao Zhao for the explanation. Joining a one-day tour is great because when you're tired from walking during a self-guided trip, you can briefly rest in the car, and then get off to explore and recharge. Kyoto summers are really hot, so being able to enjoy the air conditioning in the car until we reach our destination is wonderful! I will choose this again next time!

Wonderful day trip! If you've walked a lot but still have so much to see, book this. We were able to visit three very different locations, some of which would be difficult to access on our own, and all at a very relaxed pace. The guide was lovely, welcoming, and shared perfect historical knowledge throughout.

The tour guide shared very detailed information about the attractions and important notes. I'm very happy I purchased this one-day tour and had a wonderful day. The point-to-point travel time was also just right. I'm also grateful for Mr. Takahashi, the tour guide, for sharing his tips on attractions at the end, which were very useful.

This day trip exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Wu Junkai, was reliable and responsible, drove safely, and explained everything clearly and understandably. He also reminded us about hiking precautions. The Daruma dolls at Katsuoji Temple were very unique, Atago Nenbutsu-ji Temple was quiet with few people, and the autumn foliage created an amazing atmosphere. A walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove was very pleasant. We experienced prayers, ancient temples, and hiking all in one day, and the round trip from Osaka was very convenient. I highly recommend guide Wu Junkai!
