The tour is primarily by bus with a packed and tight itinerary, and expects a lot of walking to cover the venues. The Chinese-speaking guide is good and very accommodating. Kudos to the guide 忆芬芳. Each venue will have different people joining, so expect a varied tour group.

We are a group of Malaysians who chose to join a Chinese group. Our guide, Ms. Xiao Zhu, was very attentive and friendly to us despite the language barrier. She made sure we received all the necessary information and felt welcomed into the group. The itinerary was relaxed yet very informative and punctual. We were given time to explore on our own and do some shopping. The explanations were very clear, even when using an audio translator through our phones. We highly recommend this package for local people and those from non-Chinese speaking regions; it's an experience. It's up to you to enjoy it. Big thanks from us. 🫶🏻

The tour guide was helpful, but her explanations of the various attractions seemed to be on a "repeated mode" and she spoke too fast. Although lunch was not included, I was informed during the tour that I needed to pay extra for a group lunch due to time constraints (30 minutes). I am not sure if guests are allowed to opt out of the "optional" lunch. Please also note that you need to pay extra for the tram ride up Tiger Hill. For us, we were bored towards the end of the tour, as the explanation was too rushed and the guide was trying to cover all 5 attractions. If you wish to visit as many attractions as possible in one day, you might consider this tour. However, I hope the tour agency can consider asking the guide to slow down her speaking speed (we were the only foreigners in the group; the others were domestic tourists).

The tour involves a lot of walking, as the bus drops you quite far from the tourist attraction. You'll need to pay an additional RMB 40 for a buffet lunch (which isn't worth it), RMB 10 for a speaker, and RMB 40 for a boat ride. Therefore, you should prepare at least RMB 90 per person for the trip, and expect to be very tired from walking. If you're departing from Shanghai, you'll need to arrange your own high-speed rail ticket from Shanghai Station to Suzhou. For children under 6, a seat is not guaranteed, meaning it's not one seat per person. If a child wants their own seat, one adult will have to stand. Overall, it's not good value for the price.

This tour package was very good value for the money. It included visits to many attractions, and we would like to especially appreciate our tour guide, Mr. Yufang Ding, for his excellent service. He is a Chinese tour guide who can communicate in English, which made it easy for us to join the tour with Chinese tourists smoothly. Mr. Yufang took great care of all the guests and was always punctual. Moreover, he kindly helped us arrange transportation all the way to our hotel. Un itinerario bastante bueno para Suzhou, te reservarán un tren de alta velocidad si viajas desde Shanghái. No disfruté mucho de los jardines, pero depende de tus preferencias. Hay demasiada gente. El pueblo acuático de Zhouzhuang es bastante bonito.

We were very fortunate to have met tour guide Pan Chunli, who was excellent and humorous in her explanations. From the pre-trip communication and transfers to the thoughtful itinerary arrangements, she provided detailed introductions to the local culture, architectural features, and historical stories. We gained so much and have wonderful memories of this trip! The tour guide in Shanghai also provided excellent service, answering all our questions. We would definitely participate in this type of tour again if we have the chance! We were also able to stay in a hotel with great value for money.
