I am a solo traveling mother who took this Shibuya food tour with my five-year-old baby. I must say, this was one of my best experiences in Japan! The tour guide was a very friendly and professional person who knew every corner of Shibuya. He took us to taste a variety of delicious Japanese dishes, from ramen to sushi, from yakiniku to gyoza, and many snacks I had never heard of. He also introduced us to the history and culture of Shibuya, allowing us to feel the charm and vitality of this place. What touched me most was his great concern for my baby's dietary needs, as he has a protein allergy. He communicated with each restaurant in advance to ensure they provided protein-free food or offered us other options. He also took us to a cafe specially designed for children, which made my baby very happy and allowed me to relax. This tour not only filled our stomachs but also taught us a lot and showed us many things. I highly recommend this Shibuya solo food tour to all travelers who want to experience Japanese cuisine and culture, especially mothers with young children. Ethan did an excellent job as our tour guide. He communicated well via WhatsApp group text, providing clear meeting instructions before and during the tour. The Samurai Restaurant is the successor to the Robot Restaurant and is located in the same place. The show is still loud, crazy, and a must-see for tourists (it's also specifically designed for them). IMPORTANT: Food/drinks and souvenirs can only be paid for in cash (so no one has to worry about being overcharged).

Jim was amazing! He messaged me for the location and made sure I had all my questions answered before the tour. Jim also gave tips on how to prepare for the tour and what to expect.
