Tour guiado a pé pelo Palácio Imperial de Tóquio e pelo Castelo de Edo

Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

I would recommend this tour. It was very informative through the beautiful grounds of the palace, steeped in the history of this amazing country. There was plenty of time to take photos and explore. Our guide was amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful tour.

Sehr interessanter Spaziergang in einer weitläufigen, parkähnlichen Oase von etwa 1,15 Quadratkilometern. Unser Reiseführer namens Brandon, ein sehr angenehmer Kerl, der an der Universität Geschichte studiert hat, wusste viele interessante Dinge über diesen Ort.

Tony war ein wunderbarer Führer, und seine Art, die Geschichte der kaiserlichen Familie, des Shogunats sowie die Gegebenheiten und Dynamiken des Palastgeländes und -viertels in Bezug zum modernen Japan zu setzen, war interessant und fesselnd. Ich würde diese Tour meinen Freunden empfehlen!

El guía Brendan fue muy amable y nos dio mucha información interesante sobre la historia del Palacio y los jardines. Solo los jardines están abiertos a los visitantes, pero fue un paseo agradable e interesante. Fue una visita realmente agradable y un guía muy bueno. Muy recomendable.

This is a simply delightful and incredibly educational tour that you must go on, should you find yourself in Tokyo. Not only are the gardens absolutely beautiful, but it felt truly amazing knowing that you were standing somewhere with such rich and broad history. Especially given that it was once the home of the last Shogunate of Japan. Our guide, Sneha was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the grounds, gardens and their history. The meeting place was very easy to find, and the walk was incredibly scenic! I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful walking tour led by our guide Dylan. He knows the history of the Imperial Garden very well and was thorough when explaining all the details to our tour group. Dylan is also funny and took great care to make sure everyone could keep up with the tour pace. The meeting spot at Starbucks is easy to find and close to the subway station. I highly recommend this tour to those visiting Tokyo!

It was a lovely tour. Our tour guide gave us a lot of information and trivia on the area and a bit of Japanese history and culture. Expect that there will be a lot of walking and hiking so please wear comfortable shoes and clothes. We had the tour last week of November. The weather and the autumn leaves were perfect during our visit.

Miguel hizo un excelente trabajo al proporcionar detalles interesantes sobre la arquitectura, la diferencia en los roles y las personas que terminaron dando forma a gran parte de la cultura, y lo relacionó con la cultura actual. El jardín samurái, la arquitectura y las historias fueron un excelente comienzo para mi viaje y aprecié lo amable y abierto a las preguntas que fue nuestro guía.
