Tulamben Beach snorkeling

So glücklich, dass ich diesen Tauchausflug gefunden habe. Der Tauchausflug in Tulamben war fantastisch. Der Tauchplatz und die Tauchbasis waren gut. Man sollte beachten, dass die Fahrt von Kuta zur Tauchbasis pro Strecke etwa 3 Stunden dauerte.

Pengalaman menyelam untuk 2 orang sangat luar biasa. Meskipun kami pemula, area tersebut mudah dinavigasi dan instruktur (kami bersama Ari) dapat membimbing kami menjelajahi area bangkai kapal, yang menakjubkan dan penuh dengan ikan berwarna-warni. Pastinya menjadi sorotan perjalanan kami ke Bali! Terima kasih juga kepada Wayan, yang mengantar kami (3 jam sekali jalan) pulang pergi ke akomodasi kami.

Ordered the shared tour with hotel pick up/drop off as a solo traveller. While the itinerary specifically indicated guided tour to Liberty Wreck at 10am, the local operator later clarified that there is no snorkeling guide as I didn't choose the option with snorkel. It baffled me because both the snorkel and no snorkel options show guided tour to the wreck, there was no mention anywhere about the presence/lack of snorkeling guide, and the only difference in the itineraries between the two was the equipment rental, which I don't need as I already brought mine. In short, there is significant room for improvement in the listing. I had given up on snorkeling as it is not safe to do watersports alone and at an unfamiliar place. Thankfully the driver Sarbuja saved the day by actively sourcing for a local snorkeling guide to bring me at a fee to the shipwreck site. Sarbuja is also very knowledgeable about Balinese culture and I enjoyed the chats with him. Highly recommend Sarbuja.

Tuvimos instructores de buceo buenos y conocedores. El buceo en el naufragio fue una de las mejores inmersiones que he tenido.

We cannot finish the course without our diving instructor Marlene. Although the programme is quite tight (i.e. finishing Open Water Diver course in 2 days), it is worth it to dive to the USAT Liberty Wreck.

The staff at Dive Concepts are all very professional. DM Andhika was very attentive in guiding me, an Open Water diver, through the magnificent USAT Liberty wreck and beautiful coral reefs, making me feel very safe. Although the round trip from Ubud took 6 hours, it was a very worthwhile journey. I believe I would have regretted it if I hadn't taken this trip, so it's highly recommended 👍. Also, the food at the shop is very delicious 😋.

The guide was extremely polite and professional. He helped us non-swimmers to undertake the activity with confidence.
