Passeios por Gaomei Wetlands

If you want a hassle-free trip to Taichung, this is for you. The guide was very friendly, though strict about the time. He speaks excellent English. The timing is perfect, especially for the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands. This tour is a must, plus it comes with free original bubble tea.

It was drizzling during our visit to the Gaomei Wetlands, but it didn’t affect the atmosphere of the trip. Watching the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands was truly a wonderful experience not to be missed when traveling in Taichung. Despite the language barrier, the tour guide that day was very attentive to us throughout the trip.

This tour is easy enough that you can return on time even if you only understand Chinese numbers. It's a shame not to understand the explanations of the places, but it doesn't significantly affect the tour itself. I didn't want to go to Rainbow Village, so I booked a Chinese tour through Klook. They picked me up at the hotel on time, and even provided simple guidance using Papago for Korean translation. They also took photos for us, and restaurant recommendations were available in the group chat. It was even more convenient that the guide sent photos via KakaoTalk. The weather was a bit disappointing due to rain and clouds, but if I come to Taichung again, I'd like to try it again. Umbrellas and water were prepared in the car, so I didn't need to bring them separately. However, the front seats of the 9-seater van can be uncomfortable for your legs and back, so if you understand Chinese, take the back seats. There's much more space. Even if your departure wasn't confirmed on Klook's date, it seemed like they combined bookings with other sites for transportation. Please keep this in mind when booking. I recommend it for its value for money and convenience of travel!

葛葛 is super funny and personable. His professionalism and knowledge shone throughout the tour. He is also a superb photographer so remember to make full use of his wide range of talents! Made a bunch of new friends. Had loads of fun on this tour will definitely book from klook again!

Loved this half day trip of Taichung. All the places we went are really worth watching. Highly recommend anyone to take this trip. Our guide Lynn speaks very good english and provides details of every site thouroughly. The day we visited Gaomei wetlands, the wind was extrememly strong and it made our experience wonderful, it was much more than just a walk. I went on this trip with my mother and both of us highly enjoyed this trip.

Mr. James Lo is very experienced and fluent in multiple languages. The trip went well with accurate time management. Additionally, he is friendly and knowledgeable in recommending lunch spots for a day trip. All the places on the itinerary matched our expectations. It was an honor to have him as my one-day tour guide.

Vaness was my tour guide and we did so much on this 3 day trip. The nature sights looked unreal. I also ate very well on this tour and the hotels that were booked were in very convenient locations. I highly recommend this tour to see Taiwan! One of the best memories on this trip was being lucky enough to see the sunrise at Alishan with the sea of clouds and mountains on the horizon.
