Wycieczki po Gaomei Wetlands

We had a wonderful journey from start to finish! The travel was effortless and the weather couldn't have been better. Sophie made the trip truly memorable with her great communication and impressive depth of knowledge.

We travel to different parts of the world every year, and Joseph Mao is the first tour guide we’ve had who prepared PowerPoint slides for the itinerary. It was such a thoughtful touch and made it really easy to follow the trip. He was friendly, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and always willing to help take photos. He also shared great local tips about pineapple cakes and Sun Moon Lake cakes. Very patient and professional throughout the day. We really enjoyed having Joseph as our guide!

Był problem z klimatyzacją w vanie, kiedy odbierano nas ze stacji. Na szczęście przewodnik wysadził nas w Miyahara, żebyśmy zmienili samochód. Kierowca/przewodnik (pan Wang) był bardzo przyjazny i płynnie mówił po angielsku! W połowie wycieczki dołączyli do nas japońscy turyści, a przewodnik mówił również po japońsku! Zachód słońca na mokradłach Gaomei był wspaniały! Bardzo podobała nam się ta wycieczka.

5/5 gwiazdek! Nasz kierowca był niezwykle miły, profesjonalny i pomocny przez całą podróż. Usługa stała na najwyższym poziomie, była punktualna i uczyniła naszą podróż całkowicie bezstresową oraz komfortową. Gorąco polecamy!

Highly recommended for Koreans!!!!!! The Korean-language tour wasn't available on the date I wanted, so I ended up choosing this tour instead, and it was such a great choice!!! First of all, it was so nice that they picked us up directly from our hotel instead of having us gather at a meeting point haha. The tour was held privately with just 6 people in total—me, my mom (2 people), and a Chinese family of 4. The car was super spacious and air-conditioned, which was great! The driver couldn't speak Korean, but he explained everything well using a translator and some English haha. What truly touched me was that I had lost my wallet at the night market the day before T.T. When the driver heard about that, he said that after the tour ended, he would go with me to the night market to ask the vendors, kept calling the police station in between to check if any lost items had been turned in, and even offered to go with me to the police station to help file a report after the tour. We didn't end up going because we figured we wouldn't find it even if we went to the night market T.T., but he kept trying to help us, which really touched both me and my mom haha. Also, the Chinese family traveling with us translated between the driver and us in English and even bought us drinks lol. They were worried about my lost wallet together with us! Anyway, I had a total mental breakdown the day before after losing my wallet, all my exchanged cash, and several cards, but during the tour, my mind actually eased up, and I met good people and had a wonderful tour!!! I didn't know ferry tickets were included, but they were! The price is also reasonable, so Korean folks planning to visit Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands, please use this tour!!!!! The itinerary proceeded as follows: a huge temple at Sun Moon Lake ➡️ Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center? (cool and good for a short rest) ➡️ Sun Moon Lake ferry (basic 3-stop course) ➡️ pineapple cake shop (no purchase required, has a restroom) ➡️ Gaomei Wetlands, and they dropped us off right in front of our hotel at the end haha. Oh, and you can use WhatsApp for communication before the tour~~

Highly recommend this day tour! Our guide and driver, Andy, was very nice and never rushed us, allowing us to leisurely take photos with the sheep. He also stopped at certain scenic spots along the way to tell us about them, which was very thoughtful. He even had a large umbrella ready when it rained, and his photography skills were excellent. His driving was smooth, so we didn't get carsick at all. Gaomei Wetlands are truly beautiful, though it was a bit windy!

I had a wonderful experience on this tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, 小新. His explanations were clear and informative, helping us better appreciate the places we visited. What made the journey even more enjoyable was his great sense of humour and superb photography skills, which helped us capture many memorable moments. The tour was very well-paced, with good time management while still feeling relaxed and unhurried. Since we were a large group, we were able to charter the entire vehicle, which made the experience more private, comfortable, and flexible. Along the way, 小新 also shared recommendations on some great local products to buy, which was very helpful. He was attentive throughout the trip and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Overall, the breathtaking views, combined with the chill and friendly atmosphere, made this a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended, especially if you get 小新 as your guide!

The day tour was wonderful. Our guide was incredibly kind and accompanied us throughout, and their driving was very comfortable. When it started raining towards the end of the trip, they lent us an umbrella and even gave us one when we parted ways. Even though they weren't a Korean guide, it wasn't inconvenient at all. Thanks to the guide's thoughtful and warm consideration, it was a great trip.

Miejsce zbiórki było dogodne, kierowca Lai przybył punktualnie. Każda z czterech atrakcji miała swój unikalny charakter, a kierowca dostosowywał czas pobytu w każdym miejscu na podstawie swojego doświadczenia, udzielając również odpowiednich informacji. Narodowa Opera charakteryzuje się eleganckim designem i pełnymi liniami. Na parterze znajduje się kilka wykwintnych sklepów z pamiątkami, gdzie kupiłam parę unikalnie zaprojektowanych kolczyków. Wioska Tęczowa jest pełna kolorów i ma nostalgiczny klimat, kontrastując z nowymi budynkami w tle. Dotarliśmy do Kościoła Luce Memorial akurat w godzinach otwarcia, więc mogliśmy wejść do środka. Najbardziej wyczekiwanym miejscem były mokradła Gaomei. Na szczęście pogoda była piękna, i choć były chmury, widzieliśmy pełny zachód słońca. Było bardzo wietrznie, a stąpanie po wodzie było orzeźwiające. Zrobiłam ponad sto zdjęć – to miejsce warte odwiedzenia. Na nocnym targu Fengjia było mnóstwo pysznego jedzenia w przystępnych cenach, najadłam się do syta, a uliczne stragany miały wspaniałą atmosferę. To była świetna półdniowa wycieczka, która rozpoczęła się w południe, co pozwoliło mi pospać dodatkowe dwie godziny przed wizytą na nocnym targu.
