For someone like me, whose understanding of vegetarian food is still limited to the temple-style vegetarian dishes, the vegetarian options at Guo Ran Hui truly opened my eyes and refreshed my palate, both in terms of variety and taste. This was especially true for the 'beef' noodle soup without actual beef, which was almost like molecular gastronomy. However, since most dishes are mushroom-based, those with gout should be mindful when visiting.

Michelin Bib Gourmand Recommended: Old Master Restaurant - Dingshan Branch - Kaohsiung. The owner is friendly, the food is delicious, and it's a great deal when paired with the High-Speed Rail.

Price: Affordable, semi-buffet with salad, cooked dishes, and desserts. Service: Excellent, especially when informed that the voucher was purchased via Klook. Food taste: Main course is good, portion size is adequate.

On weekdays, the crowd isn't too large, and the food variety is acceptable. However, there were no crab legs in the cold dishes, which was a bit disappointing for an evening buffet. Alcoholic beverages included beer, white wine, and red wine.

The ingredients are top-notch and fresh! The fish is steamed, showcasing its quality; the shrimp in the cold appetizer can be easily peeled, even the last three segments of the tail; the guava is crisp and not mushy; the black beans at the salad bar are not over-seasoned, avoiding excessive sweetness, and their natural bean flavor shines through; the taro and cheese cake in the dessert area is also perfectly balanced, with the taro and cheese flavors complementing each other without clashing. The main courses are more standard but still impeccable, with precise cooking and seasoning. The above demonstrates the tea house's meticulous selection of ingredients and the chef's dedication and professionalism. I brought my parents here, and everyone was very satisfied. We will definitely come again. 10/10

Last week, I bought a high-speed rail domestic travel package on Klook, and today at noon, I'm enjoying the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommended set meal from Hotel Royal's gourmet restaurant that I added on. 😋😋😋
