From the initial contact, the service was very friendly. Although the cruise I originally wanted was full and I was switched to another one of the same class, the replacement cruise was also excellent. The cruise staff were incredibly kind, always smiling, and remembered each guest's needs – truly top-tier service. Ha Long Bay is stunning, and I would love to visit again if I have the chance. It's worth mentioning that upon returning to Hanoi, when I told Juan that the itinerary was different from what I had been told, she immediately showed concern for my feelings and tried to offer compensation, which made me very happy to encounter such a responsible person. I highly recommend everyone book this cruise, and I hope you get to be served by Juan. Thank her!

Although the price is higher, I guarantee you won't regret it. From the moment you set sail until the end of the cruise, you won't want to switch to any other boat you see during that time, not even for a second. I especially recommend the toilet paper on the Catherine; the toilet paper used in the rooms is definitely not the cheap kind. I think among all Taiwanese toilet paper brands, only Mayflower's thick paper can compare. However, it's a pity that although the interior of the shuttle bus provided for the tour is very luxurious, only the middle two rows are actually comfortable to sit in. The last row is very uncomfortable, especially for the three-hour journey from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Taller people might feel utterly miserable, wishing they could just disappear. If you're not the first to board and choose your seat, it's best to practice your contortionist skills (like Ruan Jingtian's uncle) beforehand, otherwise, it will be very tough. The waiting time for the return shuttle bus was longer than expected, and there was even a situation where seats were unevenly distributed, and some people couldn't get on, causing a significant delay in departure. I hope the operator can review and improve this part of their operational process.

The cruise service was excellent, though the local transportation arrangements were a bit chaotic. Overall, it's still highly recommended. "Chose the tour departing from Hanoi." The facilities and rooms on the cruise ship were very clean and new, with beautiful designs. During meals, each table had a dedicated staff member serving them. The staff service was top-notch; they even peeled shrimp and crab meat for us, and always had a smile, making us feel very welcome. The 2-day, 1-night itinerary was very fulfilling and thoroughly enjoyable. However, the local operator's transportation arrangements were very disorganized; after disembarking, there was no vehicle to take us back to Hanoi. Fortunately, the cruise staff were very sharp and eventually arranged transportation for us back to Hanoi. We later reported the issue to Klook, and it was resolved. In summary, the cruise experience was excellent 👍 and highly recommended.

The cruise was the highlight of our trip! We made the best choice in choosing Catherine Cruise. They made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Our room was spacious and luxurious.

The whole experience was amazing from the starting to the end . Mr. Juan who picked us up was very kind, sweet and helpful. the staff was great . the experiences were really good . The rooms were clean and tidy and the views were amazing from the cruise . unlike other cruises that we spotted, ours was the best . They specially curated an Indian 4 course dining menu for dinner which was really tasty. Dinner included some very special moments where the staff made everyone feel special especially who were celebrating something like anniversaries and birthdays . They kept in mind our preferences . lunch breakfast had veg options too to cater to everyone . the spa was also too relaxing . loved every bit of it . it was totally worth it and I’d recommend it to everyone.

The boat is very new, with modern decor and design. The rooms and facilities are clean and tidy, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food is also different from other boats; it's truly delicious and much better, you'll never go hungry! All activities on the itinerary are free, with only drinks and a few facility activities (such as KTV or SPA) requiring additional payment. I highly recommend spending a little extra to experience a much better Ha Long Bay trip!

Pros: The food was delicious! Dinner was quite high-end, and both breakfast buffets were tasty. The service was excellent, with very nice staff who even helped peel seafood shells! The triple room was very spacious, and the facilities were adequate, but it didn't quite feel five-star; it was a bit old and not super clean. Cons: The attractions were too crowded, requiring us to walk in single file, making it difficult to fully appreciate the scenery. After visiting the first Surprise Cave, we opted not to go to Titop Island because there were more people than sand! Also, the time management was very poor. Firstly, during the shuttle bus journey to and from the boat, we were dropped off at a pearl shop and a silk shop, where we had to spend at least 30-40 minutes, but this arrangement was not mentioned in the itinerary, which was a huge waste of time. The most dissatisfying part was waiting for over an hour for the shuttle bus after disembarking. Other passengers on the boat had their transport ready immediately, which wasted a lot of time! I suspect this was because they needed to take guests arriving at the pier to shopping spots, causing their shuttle bus to be delayed compared to other companies. Secondly, there was a group of Indian tourists on board who consistently arrived 15-20 minutes late, whether departing or returning from an attraction, making all other passengers wait. While this is primarily an issue with these inconsiderate guests, I believe that for departures to attractions, latecomers should not be waited for, as the departure time is set, and participation in activities is optional; therefore, departures should be punctual. Moreover, given their repeated lateness, they should have been reminded to be on time to avoid inconveniencing other guests. Overall, however, the experience on the boat was not bad.

Such an amazing cruise! really loved the cabin asthetic and it was really clean! staff were great and the cruise was not overcrowded which was great. will absolutely come on the Catherine cruise again but the next time I would stay longer perhaps a 3 day 2 night cruise.

This was our first cruise experience, and the room was comfortable and clean! All the staff on board were very enthusiastic and friendly, and the service was excellent. They even helped us resolve an issue with our return transportation, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks to them, my husband and I had an unforgettable anniversary trip ❤️
