This was such an amazing experience to do and the staff were sooo friendly, kind and helpful. They had a wide range of selection and was VERY close to the Senso-ji temple which made it even better. Their prices were also a lot cheaper than other places nearby. 100% recommend - do note they have moved location compared to the one on the booking. Once arrived, note showcasing new address less than 10 min walk but I think they’re still in the process of updating.

There are Chinese-speaking staff in the store, and they are all very friendly. You can leave your bags and shoes there, but it's still recommended to bring sneakers with you, as your feet will hurt after wearing zori for a long time. We chose the basic hairstyle, and we actually thought it looked quite good.

The dresses are beautiful, clean, and there's a wide variety to choose from. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly kind. In our case, we made a last-minute booking the night before we were supposed to wear the dresses, and in our haste, we made a mistake by booking for too many people. We couldn't get a refund from Klook as usual (because the refund condition states that you must request a refund no less than 24 hours before the appointment time). We chatted with Klook's staff, and they confirmed that we couldn't get a refund. We were very stressed all night because the overpaid amount was quite high. The next day, we went to the shop at the appointed time, hoping the shop could help us. We told the staff that we had made a booking error. The staff were very nice and tried to communicate with us using a translation app. They told us to make a new booking for the correct number of people, and they would cancel the erroneous booking for us. They also said we could request a refund from Klook the next day. It didn't end there. After that day, the shop continued to contact and advise us via WhatsApp chat, maintaining communication until we received a full refund. What started as a worry about getting our money back turned into a wonderful experience provided by the shop. We were very impressed with this shop because, in reality, they didn't have to help us, but we received excellent assistance. ❤️

Klook's prices are excellent. If you book directly, the starting price per set is 5500 yen. The staff couldn't speak English at all, but we managed to communicate through gestures. There aren't many choices for this package's kimonos. I recommend going early, around 9 AM. However, there are many beautiful kimonos available if you opt for the premium rental. You need to return the kimono before 5 PM. The price includes simple hair styling (with clips). You can borrow a bag and shoes, and store your luggage there.

It's truly beautiful. The person who helped me with the clothing, judging by her accent, must have been a gentle Taiwanese lady. At one point, the belt I initially chose was too similar in color to the kimono, so she changed it for me. I enjoyed the service of the three kimono teachers on site, all of whom were gentle and professional. The hairstylist also did a particularly meticulous job on my hair. When I was leaving, the English-speaking translator lady meticulously tidied me up again. I am truly very satisfied.

Overall, it was great! I only booked the night before, but the shop was easy to find and offered Chinese-speaking service. First, you choose your kimono, obi, hair accessories, and bag. If you're indecisive, you can ask the staff for suggestions; they're good at coordinating outfits. Hair styling and changing can be done by 4 people simultaneously. We spent the whole day exploring Senso-ji Temple, and many tourists even asked to take photos with us, haha. Highly recommended!

Liliya Kimono Shop is excellent! The kimono set includes a free hairstyle, and all hair accessories are free to choose from. The staff are very dedicated to styling your hair, even helping you decide if leaving some hair in front would look better. The shop is about a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station, and just a minute after stepping out, you're at the side gate of Senso-ji Temple. We went to many places, and walking in the shoes wasn't particularly tiring; they weren't the wooden clogs I imagined, the soles were soft, much better than expected. I'll definitely come back to this shop if I have the chance.
