Tour gastronômico a pé por Hanói com show de marionetes aquáticas

I did not expect the amount of food we actually had to consume! 😅 Our tour guide Sara was great though. She gave us lots of funny stories and facts about Vietnamese culture. It was a little chaotic arriving at the office meet-up placs. Imagine 4 tour groups all standing around and guessing who their tour guide is. We left around 5 mins after noon and we were given free waters at the meet-up. Sara also called for a cyclo to take us to the Water Puppet show at around 14:45, it wasn’t part of the tour but she made it happen because we wanted to try riding one. We just paid 100k Dong as fare. I attached six pictures but there’s still the barbeque, banana dessert and ice cream.

The tour itself is jam-packed! Our tour guide, Khoi, let us try different local foods and shared stories about them and other things. We tried 4 different local restaurants with about 10 or more different dishes and a coffee. Our tour guide, Khoi, was full of energy, and because of that, we were all full, haha! As for the puppet show, I found it entertaining. Even though I didn't understand what they were saying, I could tell by the actions and sequences what was going on. For people who have no idea about the place they are traveling to, it is a must to have a tour guide. Lucky that I found this here! Thank you, Crossing Vietnam Tour and Khoi!

Our tour guide Zuri was just amazing. She explained the different backgrounds of each food that we tasted. She was kind enough to let us explore some shops in our own and helped us asked questions. Thank Zuri for such a delightful experience.

It was the best way to try Hanoi's local delicacies while meeting new people. Sarah, our guide, was great! She shared more shops we could visit after the tour. If you're getting the puppet show, opt for an interpreter, or else you'll fall asleep during the show.

We got to taste a total of 5 dishes and they were all good! Many thanks to our guide, Hannah, who took the time to customize our food choices based on the weather and dishes we hadn't tried yet. Highly recommend this tour!

Tuvimos un tiempo excelente con nuestra guía turística Sarah. Nos contó muchos datos interesantes sobre la historia de Hanói y sobre los diferentes tipos de comida que podíamos encontrar aquí, incluyendo especialidades de temporada como el arroz pegajoso joven y el rollo de salchicha de cerdo fermentada (muy sabroso). Nunca habríamos podido encontrar ninguno de estos lugares por nuestra cuenta. Mis padres realmente disfrutaron y la comida (y si conoces a singapurenses mayores, sabrás que son bastante exigentes, así que eso es un sello de aprobación bastante bueno).

K was an excellent guide and showed us local treats and food that would be almost impossible to find on your own. Great food and great information about the old town area. The puppet show was impressive, but after a long day, I couldn't fully take it all in. I would highly recommend this tour.
