We enjoyed the water puppet show for 50 minutes. We got to witness the good music and rich Vietnamese culture. It has English translation which is good and very easy to claim tickets. The location is also very easy to find.

We had a lot of fun watching the show. We got to learn more about Vietnamese traditions, beliefs, and art. The good thing about it is the English translation of what is being shown, which helps people understand what is being presented in front of us. So, even if the whole show was in Vietnamese, you will still get to understand and enjoy it. The theater has a beautiful facade outside and a very traditional vibe inside.

Rất vui vì tôi đã đặt vé này. Tôi nghĩ vé VIP chỉ có 6 đô la, và tôi hoàn toàn thích thú! Buổi biểu diễn cũng thân thiện với trẻ em. Có phần giải thích bằng tiếng Anh được chiếu trên màn hình nên bạn sẽ không thực sự bối rối về những gì đang diễn ra trong mỗi màn vì ngôn ngữ của buổi biểu diễn là tiếng Việt. Nhà hát nằm ngay đối diện hồ và khách sạn Apricot. Nơi đây cách Chợ đêm Phố Cổ một quãng đi bộ, vì vậy nếu bạn đặt vé xem buổi biểu diễn lúc 6:30 tối, bạn có thể đi bộ đến Chợ đêm sau đó.

The location was very accessible and easy to find, especially if you're staying around the Old Quarter. We booked it last minute when we were at St. Joseph's Cathedral, and surprisingly, it was just nearby. Loved the show; it was extraordinary and very educational. Highly recommended!

The Lotus Water Puppet show was an unforgettable experience—beautifully crafted with stunning puppetry, live traditional music, and rich storytelling that brings Vietnamese culture to life! We loved it! a must watch!

This was amazing- had English subtitles playing so you could understand the play. Kids loved the show. A must do in Hanoi. The booking process easy. Rocked up 5 mins before due to traffic, checked pass, issued tickets and straight in. Don't rush ad your seats are already assigned . We booked VIP got in row B, good view for kids.

I highly recommend this show... even though the language isn't English, the actors were great. We watched the show on our first day as we were quite tired from the flight, but it was worth it. It's a fifty-minute show.

I went in thinking it would have been boring, but instead it was very well made and funny to watch! It lasted about 50 minutes, which is a perfect length, and it was divided into about 10 little skits/stories and songs. Each skit had a short description on screen, and you could see the program with titles on the leaflet. The only negative was that it was way too loud, but besides that we all had fun!

This is recommended to maximize your time in Hanoi. Pros - great talents, ontime show, great way to appreciate VietNam’s culture, staff in the theatre were so accommodating and friendly! Con - some of the parts of the show were boring or cringey so probably they can review the contents of the show.
