El traslado maravilloso, nuestro conductor nos atendió en todo y fue muy amable. El guia en el templo muy agradable y gracioso. La verdad que una experiencia recomendable para entender parte de la cultura histórica de la isla. Se conserva bien pese a que es un templo superviviente y las vistas de los alrededores son fantásticas.

Touring around Borobudur Temple is so organized. You will be given assigned tour guides inside the temple. They have free shuttles that would take you around the vast area. The temple itself still holds the ancient structure that old civilizations built. Our guide already secured our tickets and followed us through each entry point. Truly not to be missed when in Yogyakarta.

We had a great experience on our Borobudur Temple tour. Mr. Afif, our driver, arrived promptly for our pickup and was incredibly professional throughout the trip. Despite heavy traffic caused by a marathon, he skillfully navigated the roads to ensure we arrived on time for our pre-booked tour of the temple. The Borobudur Temple itself was magnificent, and the guide we hired on-site added a lot of value with detailed explanations of the temple’s history and symbolism. It’s worth noting that the guide was not part of the tour package, but it was a great addition to our visit. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include the IDR 150,000 temple entrance fee in the tour package instead of requiring it as a separate expense. This would simplify the booking process and make the overall experience even more seamless. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service, especially with Mr. Afif ensuring a safe and comfortable journey to and from Borobudur. Thank you for a memorable day!

Harry is een geweldige gids en chauffeur, hij gaf ons aanbevelingen voor dingen om te doen en te zien in Jogja. We stopten ook bij een lokaal restaurant na de tour. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij de Borobudur-tempel!

So schwer, Tickets über die offizielle Website zu bekommen, daher mussten wir sie über Klook kaufen. Unser Fahrer Dana war großartig. Freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprach gut Englisch. Der Tempel ist unglaublich. Definitiv ein Muss.

I had a great trip to Borobudur Temple with Romy. He picked me up at the hotel and arranged a clear meeting point after the shuttle ride, making everything very smooth. Although the top level was closed for maintenance until November, exploring the available levels with the site guide was still an amazing experience. On the way, Romy recommended a local spot for Kopi Luwak (30,000 IDR), which was delicious and a bit different from what I had in Bali. The café he suggested for lunch was also wonderful. I really appreciated his helpful recommendations!

Salah satu sorotan di Yogyakarta. Pemandu wisata kami, Bapak Nicko, sangat membantu dan memiliki keterampilan mengemudi yang baik. Hal buruknya adalah hujan deras sepanjang kunjungan candi. Karena cuaca buruk dan hujan deras, hanya berhasil mengambil beberapa foto. 😥

Excellent tour. Communication with our driver was super easy over Whatsapp and he handled getting out tickets as well. Would really recommend getting the extra ticket to visit the top of the temple.

Excellent, very reliable tour company - De Jong Asia Holidays. Guide Wahyu contacted us with pick up time etc the day before. He was on time, friendly and took the initiative to share lots of good informative. Car was new, strong Aircon and Wahyu drove smoothly, he got the tickets and guided us all the way to entrance. Temple guide also excellent. Strongly recommend this tour if you want to visit Borobodur.

Climbing the structure is a must do, as there isn’t much to do on the grounds except take photos from afar. We booked the tour at the last minute at 8pm the day before for a 9am tour and arranged with the operator about 5-6am. We were told the structure access tickets were already sold out online and that the driver will buy at the counter but no promises. As we were already staying in the borobudur area, we reached the counter about 930am and were lucky to get structure tickets for 1030am. We paid extra 1 hour fee to the driver to bring us to the two other temples in the area first (one was being refurbished). Maybe it would be better to book in advance to secure the timing you prefer especially if traveling from the jogja city. Pricey but good and responsive service, recommended!
