I originally thought that compared to Anping Fort or Chihkan Tower, this bare city with only a city gate left wouldn't have much to see. However, I unexpectedly and fortunately encountered a free volunteer guide. After completing a tour with the guide's detailed explanations, I truly felt that this city is indeed worthy of being a national first-class historical site! As Taiwanese, we really should come and take a deep dive to understand and experience it.

Tainan's famous historic site, originally priced at $70 per person. It's slightly cheaper on the Klook platform, and Tainan citizens get free admission. Parking is $30 per visit. You can reminisce about the ancient battlefield, military drills, and watchtowers. The visit takes about 30 minutes to an hour. It's even more cost-effective to combine it with the Tainan 4-attraction pass.

There are many large and small cannons inside, as well as plenty of outdoor tables and chairs for resting. You can also enjoy the flowering trees. It's free for Tainan citizens and has good parking!

There was nothing much to see, and it is just like a park surrounded by old castle wall. But it is still a good place if you want to learn more about history. It was really easy to use this digital ticket. I just bought the ticket right before entering, and just let the staff scanned the QR code to enter. This ticket is cheaper than buying the normal ticket on spot. However, if you plan to visit all four places Chikan Tower, Anping Tree House, Anping Old Fort, Eternal Golden Castle, they actually have some set ticket for NT210, which is actually cheaper.

Quick entry with e-tickets, buy and use immediately. The park isn't large, has many cannons, and also seats for a short rest.

The e-ticket redemption was very convenient. The place isn't very large, but the tour guide was extremely professional, and I learned a lot of relevant historical stories.

I used to visit Tainan often, but I never went inside the Eternal Golden Castle. This time, I had some free time, and after going in for a walk, I discovered that the scenery is beautiful and the historical site is well worth appreciating.
