I was traveling freely in Taiwan without a pre-planned itinerary and wanted to visit Alishan. After searching, I found a Klook product, booked it, and went. My return date was March 12th, so I wanted to book the March 10th tour, but only one person could register. Since I was traveling with a friend, we took the March 11th tour instead. At the time of booking, I was traveling in Tainan, so to join this tour, I moved back to Kaohsiung, where I had stayed at the beginning of my trip. If you want to visit the Chimei Museum and Tainan's Anping District, a package ticket will be cheaper than buying individual tickets. Bus route 99 is very convenient for travelers without a car, as it allows you to explore Anping District and Cigu District. However, the bus frequency is low, so you need to arrive at the bus stop in advance, otherwise missing it would be very troublesome. Additionally, tickets for route 99 need to be collected at Tainan Station. Since my itinerary for that day did not start from Tainan Station, I went to collect the ticket a day earlier. But the expiry date written on the ticket was for the same day. Fortunately, when I boarded the bus, the driver didn't check it particularly closely.

For a trip to Tainan, take advantage of the free same-day HSR shuttle bus. The first stop along the way is the Chimei Museum. Purchase the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle package (museum ticket + Anping Douhua + one-day tourist bus pass #operates only on holidays).

I'm really glad I took the day trip to see this green tunnel; the scenery along the way was truly beautiful, and the tour guide was very informative and excellent.

The Fun Pass was really good value for money. Route 99 went through all the famous tourist destinations, so you'll want to start your day early to make sure you don't miss anything.

Booked Sicao Green Tunnel and buses 88 and 99 together. Note: buses only run on Saturdays and Sundays. If your travel date falls on a weekend, this deal is almost like buying Sicao and getting to travel on buses 88 and 99 for free.
